Shit yeah keytar. I think I need a bunch of lagi mantles for some various things and I'm really not looking forward to that.

Also, I find it funny that the longer I play, the less I use longsword. I used it pretty much exclusively from HR1 to about 70 and now I make excuses to use other stuff every time I hunt. Lately it's been all about switchaxe, horn, and light bowguns. Even branched out a bit and started lancing some.

One reason for that is the mechanics change in this game for longsword. When you do your special in this game, your charge meter goes back down and you can't do it again without storing up power again. In Tri if you had a full charge meter you could keep hitting a monster with it. I'd probably use it more often if they kept that mechanic, but without it, it isn't as useful. Switch Axe was always my favorite anyway.

It's starting to become mine. Axe mode has such good mobility and it still hits pretty damn hard and sword mode just wrecks shit. The sidehops are just icing, really.

Apparently tomorrow's DLC is bringing a 2nd Granny Shop stock update. Let's hope this is the one that gives buyable armor stones >.>

Also some challenge quest with a rust duramboros and a savage jho no one will ever want to do, myself included, lol. All I've found so far...I'm sure I'll do an update tomorrow like I usually do.

Damn right, lol. I just upgraded most of my armor I've been neglecting and now I'm totally out of meldspar. Pretty awesome when your armor jumps 100 points that easily, though. Just capped out my hunting horn set, my narga X bowgun armor, my gold rathian set, and my l.narga set.

Edit: Forgot to mention, looks like we're getting high rank Alatreon next week. So glad I was lazy (again) on farming him so I can get all his weapons, and elemental+1 decorations, in a group. Power to the procrastinators!

After 3 fucking days, I finally got 2 of the hard horns I needed. Then did a random mission for shits and giggles that had B.Diablos in and got another one (which I can use for the Cera Symmetry but still...) Desire meter is very real in this game.

Been trying to farm bow sets. I always liked the bow but I think I'm gonna take it more seriously.

I haven't found a need for much of anything outside of Lagi/Brachy/Stygian Z/Barrioth/DM, mostly on account of a lot of horns having awful notes, but I don't see the Darkest Coffin's appeal, unless I'm missing something or it's just for looks.

I figured that might've been the case, just wanted to make sure I hadn't managed to overlook something somehow. I wish all of the horns had a bunch of useful notes though, because (much in the same vein) I have a lot of them that I love the way they look but just don't use because of it.
