I'm a Hammer bro. Nothing is more satisfying than knockin a nigga out.
Varied a bit per game but typically Long Sword, Hammer, and Switch Axe, with a touch of ranged weapons for shit I never wanted to let anywhere near me.
I usually use what calls for the situation, like a certain weapon may do better against said monster. Beyond that I mainly stick with LS, GS, and Hammer. Going to be all over HH and DS in this though.
I never played a Monster Hunter game but I want to try and get into this.
Switch Axe, bread and butter, surgical with it. Diabolos is my bitch.
Day one I'll be on, all day, and the day after off work lol.
I"ll say I go Hammer, GL, GS, LS, SnS then everything else as the situation calls for.
I ALWAYS go for the Para Hammer first. It's like a double whammy.
I was pretty much Lance full time in Tri. Dat poke poke counter.
I'll be branching out though this time around a bit.
WiiU and 3DS bundles seem to be EU only? That's some shit right there.
Yeah, I'll probably be on this day one too. Not entirely sure what I'll be doing though, possibly HH.
Planing on getting but never played a MH game. Looks like fun
It can be a bit repetitive because you need to farm to make gear, but I find if I'm playing with a full group it doesn't even seem like you're just farming. Plus there are a ton of different weapons to try out and master. I started with Tri but have easily put 100s of hours into that and Portable 3rd already.
I wonder if Demo will support voice chat so i can ask my questions
Yeah dude to put it into perspective... I could make literally any piece of armor in the game like six times over. Its not because that was my goal, its because taking three friends and going after things like Jhen, Rathalos, Diabolos is just fun as hell. Never felt like farming to me, game is just fun to play.
I also never felt like the grinding was grindy. That sounds stupid. Sure it can start to get a bit annoying when you are hunting that Rath Plate or a Gem. Still, even then, after your 100th time fighting the same monster, one little slip up can change the fight and make it something entirely different. Upgrade paths are so numerous and the amount of different weapon types... it is crazy. All it takes is just switching to a new weapon, really clicking with it and it becomes an entirely new game all of a sudden because you are starting all over.
