Hell yeah, I just completed the Triathlon event for CBT (Get level 20, use Daum cash for pearls and purchase something and taming a horse) and it was giving me a lot of anxiety because I couldn't find any wild horses.

Protip:
Well if you go to the Mountains south of Olivia there's 2 pops for wild horses and no one thinks to go up there. The thing no one explains about horse taming is that you need to use the lasso to pull on the horse, then you slowly walk up to the horse and when it rears then you hit space and start spamming. I wasted so many lassos because I thought you needed to spam immediately. After that you just walk up to the horse slowly, if it rears again start spamming space, but once you're close enough feed it 2-3 of the raw sugars then it'll let you mount it.

Now i'm working on the master baiter title lol.

Edit: Loving this game so much, Just finished off grinding to 20 with Burningthought to complete the triathlon! Reminds me so much of FFXI feels minus the combat of course.

Horse taming was really annoying at first but after you do it successfully once it doesn't seem that bad. Fishing is also a lot of fun, a good mix of "I don't give a fuck" to "I feel like doing the minigame". It's a nice change from XIV where you constantly have to pay attention the entire time.

There were a lot of complaints about how the economy works but i'm enjoying it right now. Trash actually seems to be worth something, either silver or food. Much stark contrast to XIV's almost dead economy. The straight grind can get to you if you don't vary up your gameplay. I definitely recommend putting a pause on it whenever you start to feel burnt out and work on knowledge, crafting or gathering. Don't straight quest grind either, quests do give you extra inventory space and armor but they give little to no XP. Instead I would follow one of the leveling guides, and before moving to a new area to grind, work on catching up on quests.

Protip for taming horse... Bring 20 fricking ropes, Lumps of raw sugar (not lumps of sugar) or carrots.

Unless changed, skins aren't. Whistle sounds account wide, though I'm not sure.

Name reservation is online with your account, don't even need the client downloaded. Reserved names have no bearing on CBT names.

Any BG people are welcome in my PVP guild, lots from Tera.

If you already have a group of people together for BDO, I might not make a BG guild. This game is loads of fun in groups so we just need to organize and advertise one guild for everyone to join.

Senji's guild was very PvP orientated in Tera so it's more or less a perfect match with how BDO will play out.

We all had BDO on our radar like halfway through Tera as the exact game we all wanted as long as they didn't fuck it up. Yeah it lost some complex sandbox elements, hopefully some will be added back in. Archage and Bless were supposed to be stopgaps to tide us over, but...yeah... Ark Survival was fun for a few months at least!

From an interview I just googled; sounds like horse and whistle are account wide.

if I had more cash to burn, I would've upgraded to the $100 package. This game gives off a sense of exploration that I haven't felt with one of these games in a good while. Got valkyrie up to around level 24 and ranger to about 14. I didn't really get much chance to mess with the other systems though.

I'm feeling it too, I wondered into a few places with super hard npcs and I ran into an invisible wall where I think the town of Mediah is located. I plan on playing some more tonight, I'm pretty sure they're going to pop some world bosses like CBT1.
