Anyone know why some weapon, like Liverto is so much more expensive but is not really that much better than say Basteer/Yuria?

My understanding is that Liverto has better stats but it's more expensive to maintain for repairs. Yuria is more accessible and it's the best pvp starting weapon.

nvm I figured it out, they all have mediocre starting stats, but the difference is, their stats will get a lot better than other weapons when they're upgraded.

Hey, wondering if you guys can clear up some confusion for me...

So the only reason why I even know of this game's existence is through a Youtube video I saw a while back showing off how incredibly in-depth its character creator was compared to most other games. Personally, I enjoy games that give you access to a lot of user-created content (LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers, THPS series, Super Mario Maker, etc.), and this demo really appealed to me.

Then, to my surprise, I learned that there was a stand-alone character creator program that you could mess around in, so I immediately downloaded and installed it. However, I guess I picked the absolute worst time to do so, because I was not aware that this program was always-online, and was only live during what I believe was the last closed beta period for the game; I just so happened to download it right as that period ended (I believe a few days before 3.2 came out for FF14), and was unable to launch it.

My question is, are there any plans for BDO's devs to re-open access to this character creation tool in the future? I heard the game was supposed to officially launch today, so I didn't know people would be forced to get the whole game to make characters now. I don't have any interest (at least not yet) of the actual game, I just wanted to tinker with the character creation tools, and was wondering if I just have 8 GB's of nothing on my hard drive now.

I've tried both solo and in a 5man party. 5man so much more efficient but sometimes with my play time I find it hard to gather up. Gives me the chance to solo if I have an hour to kill here and there while going AFK to do life things D:

Pretty much, except the economy system in this game is amazing, unlike any other MMO i've played, it's so addicting it's like if FFXI had a baby with Civilization V and TERA/BnS.
