It is a checkpoint 20 miles from the border in the interior of the U.S, which is illegal. The cops have no legal right to search his vehicle. All they can do is intimidate and make you believe you have to comply. This guy knows his right. He only has to stop at check points, and he does not have to roll down the window nor speak with them. They can only enter his vehicle if he says yes or a K-9 marks his car for drugs.

Was looking at some videos in the police thread. Now I dont justify what the migra and/or cops are doing; I just think unnecesary to go through all that (legal) trolling to waste your own time. US Border Checkpoints
Be aware that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents — which are part of the Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS) — are permitted to search you and your belongings at the U.S. border without probable cause or a search warrant. So anytime you cross the border, you consent to a search.

CBP may generally stop and search the property of anyone entering or exiting the U.S. If agents have reasonable suspicion to believe you’re concealing contraband, they may search your body using pat-down, strip, body cavity, or involuntary x-ray searches.

I know in that same source they mention checkpoints at 100mi being "questionable" but this sitll applies.
