How do you say "I drink your milkshake!" in Mandarin?
Hold on, let me call Jon Huntsman...
its up in the air. depending who you ask. they had tons of deaths #1 or 2 but really who cares? Almost everyone is dead from that time. Move the fuck on.
Doesn't bode well for China, they don't got shit against gundams.
lolz yeh The Great Leap forward led to more civilian deaths than the war with Japan
but calculating Chinese war dead is extremely difficult (just never seen a reputable study that put them past the USSR's 25ish million gold standard) since you are right archi most died as a result of starvation stemming from both Japanese policies and the total collapse of governance in much of China as the nationalists & communists maintained their civil war during the struggle + local opportunistic warlords jumped at the opportunity for greater autonomy. complete chaos across the land
Demonstrations have gone full nationalistic retard. Fires set, cars smashed, etc.
Album of the day's events.

I get the feeling the Chinese government isn't trying all that hard to curb the violence.
The Chinese government incites hate towards the Japanese, so that's no surprise. Not to say they aren't rightfully pissed about some historical aspects.
Who the fuck is spiking the water supplies. Its like the world is going full retard in just a few months.
This is a good opportunity for the Chinese gov to deflect from the political scandals of the party elites (the murdering wife and the joy riding son)
It's the December 21, 2012 boiling point we're reaching now. World's going to shit with protests for the most asinine reasons, climaxing with Jesus's return for the rapture. I for one welcome our new(returning) Alien Overlords.
How again does burning their own peoples cars hurt japan? Sucks for japans car manufacturers but in the long run they are screwing over their own people to funny.
I guess will see where this goes. really I sorta do want japan to keep that if it truly does have the rare earth metals. Just for the fact that tech prices might drop if they held some of the cards in it.
World's dun gone crazy.
I can't imagine this would escalate very far. I highly doubt the Chinese gov't would do anything, and Japan's allotment of military action is severely limited.
According to this article, Rolex (Swiss) and Christian Dior (French) stores have been victims of looting, and this article shows a Samsung (Korea) store being set on fire and looted.
So yeah. It's not really about Japan, it's really about looting. From their own people. Sad.
Reminds one of the London Riots, no?
