Yes Alistair and anora together is the default. Anyways pissed the fuck off I can't get to the third camp in the exalted Plains. D spent the past hour exploring trying to figure out how to get there. And there's fucking walls everywhere. Cant jump off the bridge either. Just teleports u right back
Iirc there's an operation you need to do the unlock the last area.
Most of the later zones usually have an operation to unlock a higher level area. After clearing the main portion of Emprise you can get the operation to unlock the last part where you can go get assraped by level 19/21/23 dragons.
how exactly do you get the specializations btw, I did the operation for it but don't see how to pick an actual one/start the quest
you talk to the trainers and they each give you a quest, you finish that quest and you can pick a specialization i guess. Found my lazurite. been runnin around the far west green objective with level 16 mobs when im level 12. Fuck these spiders. damn near one shotting my mage MC. Time to go learn arcane warrior i mean knight enchanter
It's a little after you reach Skyhold, there's an operation to get the trainers brought there so you can pick.
i did that operation, afaik, where are the trainers physically located? haven't seen them anywhere (but barely played today so I may just have missed them)
For my Rogue they were hanging out down by the stables. You'll probably see exclamation points on the map for wherever they ended up.
For the mage, they are located right at the grand doors leading to the bridge entrance to skyhold (the very first courtyard)
the "items" required for the trainers are built using the requisition table, not the crafting table
First thoughts : holy god is this class over powered. Enemys cannot break the ever recharging barrier. im a mother fucking jedi. Also the damage output on enemys that are guarding or have barriers? Insane. This shit makes me want to pump my difficulty up just to try it. Do you get any bonus rewards for higher difficulty? in the old dragon ages you got better loot. at least you did in origins.
weird, I'll look again tomorrow when I'm on for more than a few minutes.
Haven't started Dragon Age yet but this is pretty cool if you like Ice & Fire/Emilia Clarke.

If shes not an advisor and shes not a party member, then what the fuck does she do? i expected her to have some huge roll in the game, but it looks like shes just some useless npc standing around with minor talk for minor backstory and shit.
^^^ Yeah Im really disappointed about that. I didn't keep up with the game before release so I thought she was gonna be a companion.
She has a fairly large part in the story, but yeah not playable or anything like that.
And now im happy i played DA2 and the dlc
