I feel like this game needs a better end-game challenge. Just cruised through all 3 Emprise dragons.

You only need 2 skills to tank which vary on how you want to play, the rest is all extra. What matters more is the traits and your equipment. Mages would be stupidly OP if they could use everything, well I guess they already are with KE but yea. The Sonar is ass, I wish it would at least mark the pinged things on the minimap.
Or at least have an arrow on the sonar circle.
Why do dual wield rogues get ate in like two shots from anything?
Melee AI is retarded and they don't generally try to flank to get out of attacks. Plus unlike Warrior no way to generate Guard (unless you get a weapon that builds Guard on hit) or heal themselves like a Reaver.
Give everyone a bow if you're not going to manually control them.
Get evade for dagger rogues and combat roll for DPS warrior. Go to the skill list and set them to preferred and you'll see them dodging shit left and right. Upgrade their skills too and put important Support moves on preferred . My cole is insane to watch because he's always popping stealth, repositioning for attacks, and blowing shit up when properly set up.
How's this play on the PS4? I played the original on PC, but my PC is def. now behind the times
Just fine. As we've talked on the past few pages the controls and UI have been optimized for consoles rather than PC.
The game will look ALOT better on a high end PC, but the gameplay is exactly the same.
Same thing happens in the console versions, and once I saw the k/m controls I just went with controller and everything was fine.
I've seen two crashes the entire 70+ hours I put in, and both were directly related to the trick to uncap fps during cutscenes.
I haven't had any issues with PC controls besides the 8 ability only thing. I've crashed randomly a few times but thats it.
I've gotten into the habit of hitting my quick save before and after every battle, quest, and conversations. Between that and auto-save I'm alright but it gets a little annoying to have to redo big fights over and over because you crash at the same cutscene.
Let's see...
1 crash during the character creator
2 during the first conversation (at the beginning)
1 following the combat where you first get to control all party members and use the tactics fighting
1 once reaching the first hub town
1 once approaching the cutscene where you have a discussion before the war table is accessible
3 during fast travels
2 crashes while in the hinterlands (one was in the cave up North) (the other was near a skull)
1 crash while trying to flirt with Solas
Probably... 6-7 hours invested in the game?
I just bull charged a rogue off the side of a cliff in the desert as she was getting ready to go invisible. Might be the most satisfying move i've pulled off in this game.
looks like PC patch is coming tomorrow. hopefully it actually happens and fixes some of the issues with the game ):
