I always lol when people ask why would you do stuff like that. Especially on a replay it makes it even more fun to just mess around. But even if you do it on your first play, I'm not gonna judge. Your idea of fun might be different from mine and thats fine.

In regards to duping I guess. But why not just straight out cheat for infinite mats since the devs obviously don't agree with this type of fun.

Following my initial playthrough, first thing I do is use cheat engine to max out gold. Idgaf if it makes the game easier, I've already tapped that ass so I'd rather not waste time on stupid shit and just focus on having fun and trying out different storyline paths.

And the dude glitch has been in every Dragon Age, so the devs have agreed to it on some level.

Haven't seen any HEX editors for the Xbox One edition or I would because manually duplicating is tedious. If anyone knows of any, let me know.

That said, the incoming patch doesn't outright say they've fixed item duplication. It sounds to me more like they fixed the buying and selling back of stuff you didn't need to keep, like Skyhold upgrades.

Caved and got this game. Spent 2 hours as a Qunari shield&sword Warrior until I found out Alix Regan voiced female humans and just how annoying it is to play melee.

I haven't played Origins or DA:2 for a long while but I don't remember it being so difficult to just melee mobs with a sword. I found Cassandra is also a tank and having two is kinda redundant.

Anyone else with me on this?

Yeah i had cassandra tank, iron bull 2h dps with warhorns, vivi mage and i played archer and worked out well.

Tanks don't really do low damage, I mean it's the lowest compared to the rest but their invincibility makes up for that especially since there is no conventional healing in this game besides potions.

After a certain point where your tanks can regenerate guard consistently, they get to the point where they can solo anything in the game. They just do it very, very, very slowly.
