I got the GOTY version for $25 from Walmart on Black Friday. Seemed like the best way to do it.

I heard someone on Reddit say the 'true ending' is in one of the DLCs. Are they also referring to Trespasser?

I guess. I wouldn't call it a "true ending" though. Inquisition has a definite ending, and then Trespasser takes place two years later (if I remember correctly).

If you liked the game Trespasser is 100% worth buying though. It's kind of like Inquisition's version of Origin's Witch Hunt, but better.

Edit: The GOTY edition on Origin is $40 bucks. Buying that is cheaper than each of the DLCs. Thats retarded.

Trespasser is 100% worth it. Jaws of Hakkon basically just adds another zone to the game, so if you like exploring/clearing zones then Jaws of Hakkon is your jam (and provides a potentially unlimited supply of a new Tier 4 metal). The Descent was pretty meh and I honestly wouldn't buy it again.

It definitely helped bring some closure to the cryptic Solas ending the game had. Looking forward to what DA4 has to bring. Looks like war with the elves is coming. I can only wonder what role the characters of this game will play in it.

Dragon Age II and Inquisition were about three and a half years apart, and we first heard the word "Inquisition" two years before it was released, so if they're maintaining a similar timeline, that means it's probably about time to start hearing teasers for DA4. Hope so.

I got Descent. I've had two debilitating bugs in the first hour of play. The first was when u needed to blow the charges. An enemy disappeared behind the wall and couldn't get out. Had to reset. The second is when I'm trying to examine some corpses. No prompt. Currently warped out and now making my way back through the whole dungeon. Wtf

Yeah, it was disappointing. Of the three main DLC packages for DA:I, Descent was the one I was the one I was the most excited to play by a wide margin, but it ended up being the weakest by a mile. Sad, because I've always really enjoyed the concept of The Deep Roads, and was looking forward to a whole region of them.

Trespasser is A+ DLC. The storyline is good and it adds new features to the entire game as a whole (Trials to modify the difficulty and new variations for every skill)

What I and others have echoed before. It's very good dlc both for the new content itself, and for the Trials added to the base experience.

DA:O is a true classic in my opinion. I played through it way too many times. Different sort of game than the more recent DA's though.

Not to sound like a broken record, but yes Trespasser. It continues the storyline and isn't just random side stuff that really doesn't add much to the over all story. They do have some interesting tid-bits for story/lore if you want it, but were totally not worth the money spent when they came out... They can be skipped, where-as Trespasser kind of contains some important story conclusions. That and more Solas. Not enough, but more. Have I mentioned more tight clothinged, sexy walk, bald elf man?

Just be warned, keep a save file from pre-trespasser, or atleast pre-last mission, as once you play through it's done. It will load you back into the game before the final sequences after you're done, but that's it. So if you'd like to just run around and try and finish things you skipped you'll want to have an older save ready.
