I received a "...is available Tue AM" text from GameStop. I pre-ordered XIV, X/X-2 and KH at the same time and had it in my head that it was coming in October. So, sweet.

I played through the original up until the big dragon and then moved a bunch and it got lost in the shuffle. Pretty stoked to finally play it through and this time in the HD.

Random question out of curiosity: My first go-round I had the Strategy Guide but that's been long lost, wondering people's take on that. I really don't play too many games, do you guys use those or just figure shit out with some web help or whatever?

Just figure it out playing through, then after a dungeon, check online to make sure I didn't miss anything (go back and pick shit up)

Gamefaqs is all you'll ever need. Aside from the brady guide for ffxi, they're all useless

This happened to be twice and I did not say a word the first time. Second time I called them I got a $5 gift card and a free 6 months of amazon prime LOL(already had it so got a credit)

Finally played for a couple of hours over the weekend. Is it just me or is the camera fucking awful in this game? I find myself having to use lockon a lot in combat just to fix the camera, and jumping around on the platforming portions is fucking awful.

Just beat KH1 for the first time in 11 years. Still a great game. Yes the camera is awful but I don't care. The added cut scenes were nice and helped explain some stuff that didn't quite make sense the first time. Also sheesh I played a game 25 hours in 1 week....

Yeah, it's a little rough, but it's not like the camera was much better in the original. I remember having a much easier time with KH2 (though I don't remember how similar/dissimilar the camera system is to know if that's a defining reason why... it's been years since I played either).

There aren't many new CS anyway and the original game had scenes without voice too.
