    If they meant butterpear/winterflower (well, those look like avocados/broccoli respectively from ig graphic), I hope it's butterpear that they're adding a gardening recipe for. Butterpears are pain in the fraggin' tail to get logging, I can tell you that right now. Logged all day once and only got 6. Yuk.

    They should have increased the minimum number of jumps from 2 to 4. But I shall take this.

    Either of the two possibilities changes the jump average to 6.5, so in the long run it wouldn't make much of a difference whether they increased the minimum by 2 or the maximum by 2. If they made it 4-9, though, it would get rid of too much of that "luck-based" variability that SE seems so fond of in Nyzul.

    If they increased it to 4, we wouldn't have the fun of being on fl97 and it being a 50/50 gamble if you'll hit 100 or not.

    Granted, of all things, they really should add a lobby timer. You essentially lose one quick floor's worth of time in there.

    Yeah, I thought about that after Kaisha posted. That's probably why they did it this way. Just increasing the average probably shaves off at least one floor clear per run, but increasing the minimum would likely shave off another because of the way the stopper works.

    I mean the combined 9 -> 11 and 2 -> 4 so we get an overall 7.5 average. That would cover even most of the low end geared statics.

    This is still a good change either way.

    naw, they meant that you can't eliminate 2-3 or anyone that lands on floor 97 has to go 97 -> 98 -> 99 -> 100.

    All things aside, fl80 just got easier as an alternative now for those that can't reliably do 100, and/or plays by the rules.

    Outside of lack of lobby time, this event is essentially 'fixed', at least until Salvage2.0 comes out and starts stealing your tags for AP.

    Well theyre atleast making progress on fixing NNI. I wish theyd just get rid of order lamps, fixing same time lamps isnt a big problem.

    Theyre lack of proper adjustment to legion / odin v2 worries me. The way to survive legion shouldnt be "bring 4 sch/blm and stunlock everything for 30 min". It seems equally as fucked as "hide behind PD".

    Good, at least there is some dialogue now.

    I think min jump should be raised on a sliding scale with both time remaining and actual last floor cleared as the factors. In other words, if you suck and are still at floor 40 with 5 minutes remaining, it would remain as is. But if you have 2 minutes left and you're at floor 97, your chances of rolling a 3 are much higher than rolling a 2.

    Lamp cool down is good.

    Reducing penalty on already obtained astraria is also good.

    Powder boots is a harmless change. It won't really help that much except to build confidence.

    The jump floors is still random, but a great nice change. The lamp changes are huge. Should really help.

    btw, consider this, about 2-9 being changed to 2-11:
    at 5.5 jump average, you need to clear 18.18 floors (100/5.5)
    at 6.5 jump average, you need to clear 15.38 floors (100/6.5)

    wiping out 3 floors needed to reach 100 is gonna go a long way.

    With a new group, I'd still go for floor 80 first, and then aim for 100 if the group was getting to 80 very consistently and with time to spare. 5 astraria makes floor 80 after the Embrava nerf much more appealing. Specially since the population of people that still doesn't have NNI F100 gear is less skilled/worse geared the more time it passes.

    This changes make Thaumas/Phorcis/Uglymagegear a viable goal for a wider range of players, without letting in the perle/pink army.
