Were Mog Gardens confirmed somewhere? I must have missed it.

New Naakuals means new areas and more bivouacs to [not] maintain. Since this will be a major patch, I would highly surprised if they don't release some missions with it.
I'll be disappointed if we don't get more missions soon. It's gonna start to feel like WotG all over again where it took like 5 years for them to finish the missions. This was mostly due to the 3+ month update gap and having to alternate between missions and nation quests each update though.
Cop took awhile too
CoP took like 2 years yeah, and it was also massive with a billion and a half cut scenes spread out over the entire accessible game world at that point lol.
WotG was unreasonably much longer than any other expansion story. It took 3 years to complete. Nov 07 - Dec 10.
CoP's release span was actually very short. It took 10 months from story start to finish. CoP released in Sept 2004, you could fight Promathia by July 2005.
I hope SoA's mission release schedule will be comparable to CoP or ToAU. CoP in the sense that each update released the story in huge chunks. CoP story would move at least 1 chapter forward per update iirc. Even ToAU's was pretty fast. April 06 - Aug 07.
I think it's really got a lot to do with the fact that they knew they had another expansion coming down the road.
Yeah had to kinda finish things up with new expansion coming out plus ya know the same issues facing making another expansion faced finishing the current one
Or maybe they realized how bad people ridiculed them at how disgustingly slow WotG came out they dont want to make the same mistake twice.
As long as FFXI still makes them money, I don't see why they wouldn't release another expansion pack. SoA might be a test run to see if they can resurrect it and see if its still worth releasing. If it's doing well, I don't see a reason as to why the wouldn't.
edit: posted to wrong topic.
I think I missed that info somewhere. What nerfs to the current delve are they talking about implementing?
I just remember them making a generic comment at some point about how when they move forward with content they plan on making earlier content easier.
The logical solution of making them easier would be to make beads 100% drop rate and allow you to use all 5 on a run. If you wanted to go further then it would be a case of more timer or weakening the NM or buffing the players I guess.
But yeah, they haven't actually said how they will do it.
The new SE way of doing it would be to "make it easier" by raising our content lvl... ie older delve will become easier because we have acess to new better gear lol
They've already said that they plan on filling out the lower content levels, broadening the amount of content at each level to provide more reward options, and also filling in the missing content levels with new stuff. You can see already from their new content level chart that stuff obtained from the new Skirmish and new Wildskeeper Reives, and possibly even the new bayld gear which they planned to add, should prove helpful in bridging the gap for groups who can't defeat the Delve bosses with current gear.
