The color of the icon depicting spell, ability, ranged attack, and pet command subtargets will change depending on the distance between the PC and the main target.

Not exactly what I was hoping for, but I'll take it none the less just to better maintain that max-cast distance.
I'm assuming the yellow-icon version is for AoEs that cast from the user's position, like some BLU spells or GEO's -ra line of nukes? Description wasn't that clear.
Side note: Looks like they fixed the couple pixels of the sub-target arrow that gets clipped off on its right side.
blue = close, yellow = medium, red = far
Some nice stuff for GEO and I do hope the new SPs are coming this update. It's been too long..,.
I dont understand this magic damage adjustment. I understand making it so its not all THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER ICE ICE ICE...I dont understand this:
Thunder V is double the MP cost from Stone V, for an extra 100 damage. Shit, Thunder 4 is also having its MP cost jacked up from its current value (213 from 171, 60 mp over Stone V), and is projected to do 300 less damage in the same INT+100 situation.Code:MP Cost INT+100 Damage Before After Before After Stone V 222 156 855 1200 Thunder V 294 306 1103 1300
They are attempting to make it so that there is a trade off between mo efficiency and time efficiency. As you note, stone spells are now the most MP efficient. Thunder spells are the most time efficient. Which matters to you?
That makes sense within a tier, but when stone/water/aero V cost less mp and do more damage than thunder IV, something is really out of whack.
For what its worth Jems DRK is near perfect with more spellcast/whatever macros than i can shake a stick at, and his MNK is... a good chunk Above Average at best... but a good couple pieces from best, same as my... average MNK. Though I'm pretty sure under equal buffs that last fight I beat him by ~6% with Rigor, we were both keeping up Utsusemi as well which i think offers a pretty penalty akin to Seigan over Hasso.
I think a MNK as good as your DRK might just keep up with you :O, Not when you get Senbaak though >_>?
How would you say the quality of that MNK is? I keep up just fine with excellent DRKs thus far with rigors. I know the one mnk I saw who got the h2h seemed to have very questionable gear?
The way this was worded confuses me. Is it saying that if you're offhanding str it's not getting adjusted? or is this saying that only stats in weps are getting boosted?One-handed Weapons
Main Weapons Pre-adjustment Post-adjustment
Attack (STR) 50% → 75%
Accuracy (DEX) 50% → 75%
Sub Weapons Pre-adjustment Post-adjustment
Accuracy (DEX) 50% → 75%
Or is it just all of your str/all of your dex that's getting boosted?
It's saying it only applies to your main hand. So like you get the attack and acc on your main hand but only the acc on your offhand. From all stats, not just the stats on your weapons.
