Well, by the looks of it Skirmish 2 is just above Delve NMs lower tier "group 1" stuff, but all "delve bosses" are still at the very top even above the stuff coming next update. And since the stuff the delve bosses drop seems comparable to highly ranked up lower NM gear, then I would assume they mean non highly ranked base gear?

I'm pretty sure they said item level takes max possible augmentation into account somewhere.

I wouldn't put much stock in where they place gear on their little number totem pole. The stats are what will matter and I'm not confident that SE is going to put stats that people will agree is between delve T1/2/3 and T4/5. We'll just have to wait and see.

I would hope they aren't mutually exclusive like salvage sets, and more along the lines of vw/legion abjurations.

Yeah, this. If they want to have so many hybrid jobs in the game maybe they should actually let these jobs wear more than one set. I don't understand how this whole heavy/light/mage gearing paradigm even came about, it doesn't really fit XI's job system at all.

I'm getting pretty excited about this next patch, sounds like it'll be pretty large.

Better yet, make sets specifically for hybrids instead of forcing them to play inventory hell with set identity disorders.
