Uh is it just me or is the Kahmiir Piedmont (where the Bear/Tiger Naakual would be) zone missing? Unless that was another name for the Dho Gates? No way, it must be delayed or something.
Like the Mog Resort music though~

Naakual page is supposed to have Hurrcan and Yumcax on it, but the images arn't working (the links are there though). New Naakual stuff from the looks of it, Scythe, GAX, Axe, Club. (No katana = all of my sad. I guess the bright side is that the final Naakuals will have the higher ilevels and thus the best weapons...) The Tiger Naakual isn't in the game yet, kinda expected that when Spira mined the test server and only found Hurrcan and Yumcax.
Kinda funny how they make it seem like Mog Gardens is some huge resort for you when it's only the size of about 3 mog houses, supposedly.
Kamihr is probably going to be in the following update. they probably intend to stagger the content levels out so if they released all 3 remaining Naakuals and their corresponding areas now there wouldn't be much to look forward to by Dec.
Intrigued by change of name in Marjami.. and so far the zones look interesting. Doh Gates looks like.. a mix between Korroloka and Aydeewa.. i think.
For some reason it feels as tho the new zones still do not rival Aht Urhgan environments (or even WotG) for aesthetic appeal.. i think its the weather effects.
the new equipment shown are the drops from the new Naakuals.
Uk'uxkaj gear + new scythe axe is probably from hurkan whilst Buremte probably Yumcax, along with new club and gaxe.
What i find interesting is that there's 2 different Axes from Naakuals, given tha Colkhab already drops one.
Hmm, Mog Garden looks like an interesting little side thing. Seems like there putting a little more into it then I really thought, should be interesting to see how it plays out.
Nice I really like the way the new zones look. By the way check out that waterfall in Marjami Ravine. That's definitely the final version of the old testing in-progress zone Spira found with the watterfall matted out. Mog Gardens looks nifty enough.
It's actually pretty damn small so don't get your hopes up. Like everythings right there within a few steps of each other. But still looks great visually.

Maybe I'm stretching what I see, but anyone else think Hurkan's thunderstorm in the right side pic looks like a Geo aura? Would be kinda interesting (annoying..) to have to pull him out of a thunderstorm aura he creates to stop him from healing/dealing massive DoT to you.
Also bleh at the completely uninspired design of the great axe. Was hoping for something more like a primal looking voulge or even something made of bones or some shit, not a reskin of that ToAU GA. Very confused at a second axe being added, unless they're showing off some crafted weapons or something, though with the feathers it seems to obviously come from Hurkan.
Curious if they've intentionally left out the drops from Yumcax or if they're changing the drop systems up for Wildskeepers. Seems to all be mage/light armor gear shown. The head the Galka is wearing and the hands look more like the new bayld pieces possibly, just not really decorated or anything at all like the previous Naakual gear.
Totally different content level (and item level), though, so it wouldn't really be fair if they just continued to be completely discrete with the introduction of the weapons because then we'd never get better swords, daggers, etc., from new Naakuals or Delve bosses (assuming any new Delve bosses added later continue to have equipment that aligns with their Naakual counterpart).
Was there ever any further mention of making Chocobo Circuit some kind of hub? I thought I recall reading that at one point.
Believe that was mentioned shortly before Adoulin's launch. It was brought up in regards to the expansion of /yells, and some mention regarding opening up the Circuit to act as more of a hub for activities. I haven't seen anything else mentioned about it though.
They'd need to do a good bit to make it desirable to be there though, IMO. AHs, yells, being able to exit where ever (including Adoulin) and maybe something meaningful/useful to do in the zone. Races seemed cool at first, but just never quite grabbed my attention fully.
Yell expansion to the circuit should be in the upcoming update.
The rest is within their grasp, since the AH counters have been modelled into the zone since day 1, and there's conveniently a single blocked-off exit within the central hub that they could model in access for a new port for Adoulin-related purposes. On that latter note, is there anywhere in Adoulin that hints towards being a Chocobo Circuit entrance? They had to have placed in an inaccessible door somewhere to eventually hang the choco circuit decoration over, possibly in Eastern.
Great Axe gets dicked with an unoriginal design yet again. It's weird because GAxe always seems to get one new GAxe model every expansion. CoP gave us the Voulge type, ToAU introduced Amoods (and Conqueror), the Iclamar/Balestarius model was from WotG, and I'm not totally sure but I think RotZ had the first Bhuj. Even Abyssea had the Ukon model. Still haven't gotten one for this expansion.
Marjami Ravine looks cool, actually all 3 zones look pretty nice. I'm glad Dho Gates isn't just another re-coloration of moh/sih gates. And Yorcia weald has a creepy vibe to it. Might be undead there but probably not since there hasn't been any in adoulin yet.I donno why but these zones kinda remind me of areas in FFXII.Spoiler: show
If I had to guess, it could be an axe with ranged stats since a long time ago they were trying to push rng away from using staves. But that doesn't seem likely now.
