That new bayld gear on the bottom right looks ugly, assuming thats it.

Also confirmed elemental magic and job adjustments is for july.

I think they said 5 sets of equipment so maybe these are the new Bayld pieces and Skirmish v2 will have the 5 sets. Knowing SE, the gear will either drop from Skirmish randomly or will be purchased with Obsidian Fragments.

I was thinking more that the equipment is buy able with Bayld but you need skirmish 2.0 items to upgrade them.


Also, no worries about delve 2.0 yet. August has two skirmish areas that should keep busy for quite some time.

Uh so there's not going to be new Delve until after August? That's shitty if so.

Two words: planned obsolescence.

August will give us just enough time to get our weapons to 15 or "better" yet get those current Delve mega weapons/gear and then 3 weeks into the new expansion they can make it all obsolete.

I hope there's a substantial amount of gear that is worth getting from Skirmish II / Bayld / Naakuals because otherwise it could be a very boring few months until Delve II.

Yeah, I think they apologized for this because they realized the mistake after it was made. Had they done Skirmish v2 and upped the cap on coalition last update and then released Delve V1 this update, things would feel a bit more smooth in the scaling of content.

Hmm trying to estimate where the new zones are going to be located in relation to each other. I had been assuming that they would simply connect to Morimar and Foret with another "X_Gates" tunnel dungeon adjoining them. But the way the new info describes them makes it sound like it's different. Plus there is only one new "X_Gates" tunnel as opposed to two you would expect.

During some exploring I did after the expansion came out I saw a few places that are probably new zone lines. There is a spot in Morimar at the south end of the map that leads to a tunnel that is blocked by boulders. Also a place like that in Foret de Hennetiel if I remember right. I took some screenshots. I would have to go back and look at them to be sure.

We will be adding the new special abilities for all jobs (which includes rune fencer and geomancer) in the version update following August's. Once we have an update on test server implementation, we'll be sure to let you know!

Didn't WARs used to be basically Formless Strikes and then they changed it to 100% DA? I bet they would love that pseudo formless strikes back now with how NMs are!

This is mostly assuming they haven't changed them again. If I recall right many of them were changed more then once so far.

If they have they haven't told us of the changes for a rather long time now. Gotta remember somewhere there thought that giving 1 job the ability to drain 50 tp a hit while giving another a weaker version of elemental seal was balanced in the first place....

Sure, just in time for the last Naakual. So it will help people that have not already capped out on Delve crap, but it does nothing for those who have.

That's a pretty cynical view though because that's like me going 'Everything they add from now on is useless because I'm capped on drops'.
