I don't think npc in reives are a good idea...more capes is though!
Doesn't matter if people keep doing Marjami and Ceizak only. Capes everywhere would be a great bonus, for now everyone keeps beating Marjami(too often too fast), add npc there and no one is getting evaluations anymore.
with like 4 rng as main dd at 35-40% col rate achuka took us about 2h this was back then when they were new and before delve, just don't go to them alone or with shout grab 5-6 good friends and there is no reason the fight should take 15h or the need for a cor army(for the old one, I have next to no experience on hurkan/tree since once you killed delve boss there is nothing to do).
Now they should be even easier since everything is know about them and we gave gear a ton stronger.
Hell it's like Fiat lux people say it's impossible to reget while a group of 5-6 people was able to get it when they wanted it on asura, if col rate is too low and you really wanna do achuka/tchakka leveling it on old zone isn't hard at all.
Players I have litterally 0 control over so again no comparison to vw. And the bird is not yumcax which I have seen take 18 hours. And regardless there is no way for players to maintain colo rates of all zones high on smaller servers unless they devote all to reiving. tchakka will also go long due to crappy colo rates and it's Deathgas
You spend a decent amount of gil doing that. Regardless no farming needed before VW at all so still no comparison.
Great for you some of us want more than one item which makes the library quest basically not useful until we get several other items. Now if it was repeatibly this wouldn't be dumb. But it isn't and defending it is equally dumb
Yeah it's totally the players faults when any effort you put into colonization rate decays by the time you log on the next day. If there isn't a constant stream of bodies taking down reives like there is in Ceizak and Marjami you're never going to see col rates go over 30-40% and you're still going to need a cor army to take them down in a "reasonable" amount of time.
First time I did Achuka the fight probably took 2hrs, I say probably because the mob was half dead by the time I got to zone in since I got stuck behind 2 reives and it took about and hour when I got in. I forget the col rate but I think it was 50 or 60%. The second time I fought Achuka was on my mule, and the fight took over 6hrs. Most of the damage was from SMNs and a few cors. Everyone not on those jobs (and some that were) just killed adds till they capped out on exp/bayld and then afked in a corner. Some kept fighting the whole time but even I took a few breaks. The col rate was around 30% for that fight.
Another example. Yumcax on my main took around 2hrs, 30 col rate. On my mule took around 4hrs. 29-30% col rate. Why the 2nd time took twice as long I donno, I guess there was less cors or something. Got cape on both chars. Not really relevant just putting it out there.
Muyingwa and Achuka can be DDed by melees no problem, even at lowish colonization rates (40+). They don't hit hard enough, and have low enough evasion/defense that it's faster than using summoners or non optimally grouped corsairs. As long as you have a healer for every 3 melee or so, you can stay in there indefinitely, and it takes way less time than you'd think.
Man its astounding the level of "fuck you die" difference between Bee/Dragon and Shark. I've been 1shot by shark multiple times, standing on it, Hurkan can seemingly deal 3k ws, and tree can deal 1500 dmg, and then doom you for shits n giggles. Yet when I finally saw a t-rex shout, I was amazed at how easily I could melee it with no fear of being cheaply 1shotted.
Wouldn't mind some job specific earrings/necks/rings that enhance some job abilities of ours.
They had better release more inventory space before/when they do that.
Regarding today's post, I understand what they are saying but the old artifact armors were made with an inferior /less refined graphic system and newer AF and gear just looks more detailed and 'smooth'. Look at the empy armor versus the artifact to see what I mean.
I would argue the many of the AF sets still look better then many of the recent sets regardless of a lack of detail.
I hope they don't mistake pieces that we wore for appearance with pieces that we wore for attributes. Inb4 level 116 Scorpion Harnesses or W.Turbanswe also plan to add equipment with graphics which have previously gained popularity in the past
Honestly, besides reutilizing AF, I can't see them going much further with reusing old models. The Skirmish armor was a smart reuse of old assets because those were the augmentable evolith sets that were heavily under/un-utilized, and they look pretty neat too (aside from their hyper-redness). AF armor is the most obvious reuse of old assets because AF and AF+1 armor has been mostly irrelevant for the past 3+ years.
Outside of that, though, I'm not really sure what they'd want to bring back that they haven't already brought back recently. Those other Evolith weapons that almost no one ever used were neat looking, and maybe some reskins of old styles that disappeared (like someone was asking for them to bring back some weapon with the Algol model). Can't really think of anything else.
