That all flying vermin or all vermin to 60 ? I've been doing all the unlocks of the unique known species just got lizard / wivre / bugard to 60 left but probably wont start those til after the update.I want to get every species to at least 30.
anything that hasn't been found yet probably requires NM~HNM rank to unlock. it makes the most sense
I really doubt gnat takes NM+ rank to unlock, it's either tied to high lvls (75+) of multiple vermin no one has taken that high yet, or it's not unlocked yet like gnoles standing form. Cerb I could see as being NM rank only but it's probably just high lvl large beasts that no one can currently lvl due to zone limits. Probably same with manticore.
Take it over there > http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/117...Species/page11
My only Vermin not 99 are Wamoura, Ladybug, Crawler, and Beetle. And no Gnat.
I bet taking Ladybug to 99 would unlock it.
But Atinian Staff +1 is iLvl 118, not 117...
Anyway, until the update comes around that specifically gives the MACC values, I'm going to assume MACC ~= 0.75 * weapon skill for melee weapons, and MAC ~= 0.95 * weapon skill for mage weapons.
Seems close enough for me.
All I'm taking from it is that Items with the same iLevel can have different amounts of Magic Accuracy on them.
Wonder what they mean by the item skill macc not going to be the values they gave us today. Are they going to give us something that still isn't representative of macc? If so why do it? Are the macc values they gave us today incorrect or changing? Again why do that? Are they going to do something funny like give us the multiplier lol. I must say though I love how they basically just flipped cor the middle finger.
And looks like there is still a big gap between soothsayer mages and atinian mages just now some can close it a little with boss drops
Because you lose 15% dmg maybe? Sure they get more macc than they have now but it should really be based on their gun. This basically kills staff bonus. Also kinda silly if you think about it. The acc of the physical shots out of the gun are based in the gun the magical ones out of your swd lol?
If you want the 15% damage bonus, then keep using Chatoyant which will give you the same damage and MAcc as before?
The old option is *exactly* the same as it was before, but now you have an additional option to gain more MAcc at the expense of damage. (If you need it to be unresisted, or for light/dark shot). I fail to see how "Old option is exactly the same, here's a new one" "Kills" the old option or is a "middle finger".
As for silly... how is getting an MAcc bonus for a sword any more silly than getting an MAcc bonus from a Staff?
It's going to suck when armageddon is good again, when wildfire is actually worth using anyways. Also the problem is, giving up the macc on higher level monsters is very likely to be a bad idea. So staff will only be good on shit you wouldn't even care about QD/WF
The reason you don't see it is because you are only looking in the absolute of that just that job. Is it an improvement? Sure. But what other jobs are having to chose between either no dmg bonus or no ilvl macc? To put it in perspective it would be like if none of the staffs had int or magic dmg on them. Or the all the delve weapons didn't have skil but weaker weapons did and you had to chose between dmg and hitting. Even worse since it's not there main weapon type they are stuck with ilvl 113 weapons so they will gain the least from this... well and rng but magical ws ar dead so meh
Silly in that sword skill not macc stat is adding to a guns macc when the gun has marksmanship skill.
