If it does (I don't really pay attention to COR stuff- I assumed the bitching was because it doesn't) then they probably shouldn't be complaining too much.

I didn't notice their note about how Ranged weapons won't get the MAcc boost. That's retarded, considering that Wild Fire/ Quick Draw's MAcc depends on Marksmanship Skill normally. Sounds like they're just being lazy when ghettocoding iLevel into the game. Stupid shits should have just increased the level cap past 99. Apart from minor graphical fixes (probably more minor than adding a second page to item descriptions in order to compensate for stat bloat), player level could have continued up to 255 without any problems.
Anyone think that the next WKRs will be killable? Lakshmi has about 200 NA/EU players now. We'll need something like 25% turnout for it.
How about the next Fracture release? I hope it's easy enough that the top 10% of the server can kill it, because otherwise Lakshmi won't be able to field an alliance.
Normal skill does but normal melee weaponskill also effected there magical ws and I could be wrong but I thought part of the reason for this fix was for macc problems on ws too. iirc alot of additional effects aren't landing as much?
If it does already effect it it seems odd that they would note that there will be no boost from skill or that they would allow them to double dip. Ditto to all the melees using magical ws or ws with additional effects. Stun ws go!
Killable yes unless they do something stupid again like put on a regen aura on the naakul in the zone that is the most inacessable to colonization. Keep throwing QDs and things will die eventually. Doing it in a timely enough manner to be worth it especially when you might only win a pebble seems doubtful. Especially since it's kind of a self fulfilling prophecy with the harder/longer it is the less people show up or the more people that just afk making it even worse. Which makes me rather skeptical about next fracture since you have time limits. Maybe if they keep the same content level perhaps though both bird and tree gunna be hard without stun locks
Seriously , I was really shaking my head at that response. You're not bringing the corsair for the damage, but you want them doing what they can to deal the most damage while they are there. For all we know they could add some sort of WSDMG boost to empyrean ws when using empyreans, since they planned to unlock them from the weapons.
Come over to Quetz!
If attack caps with geo frailty, I don't see the big deal with bringing GEO over COR. Again it depends on player strengths than most everything else when it comes to alliance composition. You know what I'm talking about.
Before the item level patch, I would often hear of CORs whining about not being able to land quick draw without a GEO and maybe a SCH helping them out with MACC against Hurkan, but I haven't seen any complaining about Quick Draw resist rates afterwards against Hurkan or Yumcax. I mean, it's possible that the AGI on item level armor helped, but really bad resist rates I was seeing before would seem to be too big for just the added AGI to make it go from usually resisted to almost never resisted.
Not the most reliable, since I'm not a corsair, but it certainly seems that the buff to item level helped their MACC.
Well yeah, I'd take your geo over random shit cor anyday. Usually speaking we're probably talking shit cor vs shit geo sadly though lol. For magical DPS, cor will lose easily obviously. You also bring a lot more to the table buff wise than GEO though, and random deal/wildcard can be crucial to some fights.
Hard to really say based on that. Especially since I don't think macc of things like that were really tested that well just kinda assumed it followed the testing done on magic with obvious substitutions. Not sure if racc was ever ruled out? Not really sure what gear was really used for qd and the changes but assuming things follow similar to magic tests you'd get it would take say 90 agi to go from 50% hit rate to 95%. Add in the whole we miss alot to we do good without actual rates or sample sizes it seems plausible. Other possibilities could be geo becoming more popular to use in there as well as shifting elements. Iirc cors were using mostly earth shot on hurkaan at first because well it's a thunder mob but found ice shot to work better?
Would be fairly easy to test with a fresh burned cor or rng probably
Could just send a COR that has both Donderbuss (or Surefire Arquebus) and any level 99 gun to Hurkan.
Take off your mainhand weapon, any MACC/AGI on your armor, and Quick Draw him 10 times with Donderbuss and 10 times with the level 99 gun, and see if there's a stick rate difference. If you're floored with both, add some AGI/MACC until you aren't.
i was talking about a pure a magical dmg pt setup consistent of 2xGEO + 4SCH or BLM (throw in RDM/SCH or Relic BRD if MP is an issue) vs 1GEO and 1COR. buffs from GEO fot a magic based pt are way stronger + dmg. we were talking about a physical dmg resistent ir immune mob. of course in a melee setup ally a cor would bring more to the table.
Clearly what you really need is a Donderbuss +1!
I was talking about megaboss runs in delve specifically. If the new ones are anything like the old ones, SE likes to include several different gimmicks in each zone and on some mobs in some phases magic ws damage can contribute. If anyone is manaburning megaboss runs that it news to me (but sounds like fun).
Silly to "talk about" Geo VS Cor in a hypothetical magic damage only fight, when that clearly wasn't what was being discussed, mostly because you'd have both regardless of the situation in an alliance. Geo has higher DD potential in a magical fight, sure, but at this point, who cares? I love my Geo, but I know the magic damage isn't why it's brought, just like how a hardcore Cor might love their physical or magical DD, but it's not why they're brought in the ally.
Might not be the main reason, but why underperform?

- Double XP Campaign (doesn't apply to monipulators)
- Remember when BCs dropped random bonanza rewards? Now that's an event. You can finally finish off the Empyrean armors you've been missing.
not letting monstrosity join the double exp is retarded... they might as well just not make an exp campaign at all. dumb shit is dumb
