Means meriting in Adoulin might actually be a better deal than Yet Another Worm Party. And sure as heck less boring/no stupid 30th-level leechfest either.

At double exp, solo I'm chain #5'ing for over 1K/exp with this, and I've seen easy prey that no-chain would be 1200exp/kill, right off. Might go through Raja hunting random monsters and see where it takes me.

Edit note: Oh, and I wonder if the precursor to this "lots of good loots in BCNMs!" was when we got all those weird item drops like "." on the BCNM's in question? Hope they got it right this time.

Did Last Orc-Shunned Hero once. Drops of note were Scarletite Ingot, Ni, corvine abj: hands ,corvine abj: head. The other drops were more of the same.

Hmm I ended up with a Mog bonanza Kupon L that allows me to trade it in for any of the Sea Torque/capes. Not sure where it dropped but the only XNM fights I've done was Palborough project, Shellshocked and Mobline Comedy.

Shame there aren't cooler kupons. While they obviously wouldn't do the REM ones could've at least done full empyrean armor ones or the delve stuff etc considering it's a 3 day event with no warning that has an entrance fee that can't effectively be farmed quickly

• 1 golden seed pouch or 1 jar of monarch beetle saliva (uncommon substitution: event items like Nomad Moogle Rod, Chocobo Wand, Redeyes)
• 1 Mog Bonanza Kupon S (uncommon: Mong Bonanza Kupon L - this is for jailer torques and sea capes)
• 1 Scroll (uncommon: Arise and Meteor)
• 1 Scroll
• 1 synthesis item (uncommon: VW/Legion drops like Serica Cloth, Scarletite Ingot)
• 0-1 additional synthesis item
• 1 of Empyrean upgrade item (AF3+2) typically. Can be substituted by the following depending on orb type (this is preliminary)
  • Phobos Orb (30 KC): WoE currency sacks (seem fairly common)
  • Deimos Orb (50 KC): corvine abjurations (Last Orc-Shunned Hero), supernal abjurations (Shell Shocked), transitory abjurations (Avian Apostates), lenitive abjurations (Whom Wilt Thou Call), foreboding abjurations (Dragon Scales)
  • Zelos Orb (30 HKC): simulacrum segments (got tier III visage)
  • Bia Orb (50 HKC): alexandrite, hexed equipment (I personally got alexandrite x1 from "The Mobline Comedy" and 1x NQ hexed from the other one)
• 0-1 additional Empyrean upgrade item, etc. (see above)

It seems that for battlefields with multiple 'boss' NMs (all Deimos Orb battlefields, The Mobline Comedy, Taurassic Park) that for each NM with a direct drop pool there is only one synthesis item slot and only one slot for Empyrean upgrade items, etc.

Rare synthesis items (subject to further verification). I haven't seen anything good from the Zelos Orb NMs personally (even after spamming Taurassic Park a bunch of times, but only 35 total treasure pool realizations I've observed for that one)

This is consistent with my experience too. I got Scarletite Ingot off the "Palsborough Project" BC and Arise off Last Orc-Shunned Hero. Also, I got Redeyes as a random event item.

There might be some frequency-difference in specific scroll drop rates between different zones. Last Orc-Shunned Hero gave me a ton of Utsusemi: Ni (very few Phalanx/Raise 3) and Palsborough Project gave me a ton of Raise 3. I've heard reports of the Taurus BCNM giving a ton of Phalanx.

Anyone else think this was a bad idea? Empy seals and +2 is fine, scrolls are okay but crashing synth material prices? Doubt it will be a quick recovery after these three days.

I suspect that there is one synthesis item that's unique to each zone or BC.

Common drops - Saffron Blossom, Dragon/Hydra/Cerberus meat, Screamshroom, Kitron, Black Sole -- Dogwood Log
Uncommon drops that are still food - Ruszor Meat, Verboshroom

Synthesis materials - Wyrdstrand (HKCNM50 Moblins), Scarletite Ingot (KC30 Bomb), Staghorn Coral (Sacrificial Chamber), Sealord Skin (Last Orc-Shunned Hero)


Can anyone break this theory?
