He stated that the crew that actually programs and codes the game are all veterans of FFXI. I think we can give the dude some leniency on not being high enough himself. Unlike Tanaka, it seems he actually has some vested interest in seeing a better off FFXI, which is why he's actively playing.

If he only started a short time ago, isn't playing in god mode, and still working 2 demanding jobs, is it really that bad that he is only level 70? There is still a lot of leg work if you are starting a character from scratch. He's probably playing the game as they intend it to be played as well with no PLs and doing missions without level 99s face melting BCs for him.

I sware I've read "I have a private character but I haven't beaten maat yet" from SE workers in the past. I'm pretty sure it's just a stock pretend answer when the real one is "No" or "Not properly".

He may have an account but I doubt he logs in and actually plays more than once a month or something.

This guy has no clue. I mean he is nerfing embrava and PD and has never done nyzul, aren't you seeing a problem ? He is talking about good and bad gear, side grades and big upgrades. If you analyse his last 2 speeches he clearly thinks that event difficulty is

abyssea<voidwatch<nyzul<legion, with gear reward quality being in the same order.

So what was the adjustment to ADL with the emb/pd nerf again? Should I be buying the last marrows I need or waiting? I thought it was just a HP reduction but LS said that was for odin/legion

Nice info and I wasn't aware that the stats were actually boosted. Still, it never feels that the automaton is THAT stronger though.

Embrava and PD are long overdue nerfs . As much as it pains my sch it is necessery for the Game to let it evolve.
