I was worried that he's actually referring to stunning things as one of the "types to improve" that the game has been biased towards, meaning stun resistance monsters in the future.

I think what he is saying is that old strategies that used to work and make more fights exciting (stunning TP moves, using situational gear, etc) have fallen aside for zergfests and reliance on PD/ Embrava. He seems to be saying that he wants to move back to a time when people felt the excitement of a prolonged fight rather than what we have now. I agree actually.
I think what he is saying is that he wants more things like Salvage back then where if you are great you do a FullClear np But if you kinda suck you can still hit up 2-3 NMs of your choice and whack away slowly.
My interpretation of it is that he wants to plan content in the future such that it takes advantage of skills and attributes that players can develop (with his examples listed), such that improving those skills and attributes will positively affect performance, and that postively affected performance will be better rewarded. Nothing outlandish, but it would, in fact, be a direct contradiction to all recent FFXI additions, as he also mentioned. There's also an implication that while the game obviously has to improve, players need to be willing to improve as well.
That's what I did. I only totally lost a translation once, after which I always did it in Notepad. It's still a pain though, because I won't realize it got eaten, and then I'll take a look 10 minutes later and it'll be half a post, which is what whoever checked out that thread would have seen in the meantime.
I was going to tell you to use Notepad Slycer when you made that post, but you could also use this plugin:
Lazarus: Form Recovery [Firefox] [Chrome]
I'm not sure if it works for BG forum, but I know it works for FFXIAH and has saved me a headache or two in the past.
Edit: It does work, just right click the forum and it lists your most recent entries starting from most recent.
I'm not sure if it's relevant, but anytime I try to copy paste or type moonspeak on these boards it ends up hiding like half my post. Apparently there's a lot of characters this board just doesn't support or something?
The only thing I can think of as far as the Matsui post goes is the Umagrhk rock shield thing. I think he wants to do more things like that, I guess?
lolLimbus/Einherjar timers won't be reset with the update, nor will they be reduced to 20 hours, they'll just continue ticking down at whatever current time remaining they have. Any subsequent entries will have the correct 20 hour timer.
Sure am glad I decided against going to Einherjar today.
I could just go for a Stun nerf across the board. Something like mobs having immunity to it for a couple minutes or so after a Stun effect is landed. Would force players to stop relying on it as a crutch, or stunbot-rotating their way to victory thanks to shitty server latency.
Spoiler: show
I doubt they'd fix a lot of legion even if they made Stun a lot weaker, because I always thought that they intended Legion's win rate to be way, way lower than it is right now, otherwise they wouldn't drop at 100% what Provenance Watcher drops at like, freaking 10%.
If they nerf stun then Sch will be completely useless in proper endgame. Also it'll piss me off as I just finished the Apamajas II about 40mins ago.
There were a ton of mog house related replies from Fujito. I'm gonna leave it to the community team to translate those since the update is imminent. I'll take a look later on if they don't translate them today.
Status effect duration timers will now continue to progress even during cutscenes.
sadface
and the maximum movement speed of pets has been increased to twenty-five percent of the average speed.
Fuck yeah.
Or even having mobs start to reflect/bounce them instead instead of merely resisting it for NM/HNM targets.
Finding out your chain-stun ended up jacking the healer instead of the mob (or you end up stunning yourself) would do the trick. Just have a predictable time any given mob has between going resist/reflect -> vulnerable again to stuns so people know how useful they are to people who won't spam them.
MAH TEMPS. Curious to see how the defeating certain monsters to remove Pathos will play outDifferences from Previous Salvage Content
Entry is restricted to adventurers level 96 and above.
Players will no longer be able to obtain temporary items.
Pathos of Alzadaal restrictions may no longer be removed by imbued items, but by the following methods:
Defeating certain monsters in specified areas will randomly remove a Pathos of Alzadaal restriction from participants.
Examining the Runic Lamps within each remnant will allow players to remove restrictions of their choice.
Can someone copy/paste the notes rather than just linking? Blocked at work. =(
Guess we found out what "shortly" meant in regards to locking timers. My cruor just went from mostly useless to absolutely useless lol. Better spend it on getting Twilight Mails for my mules haha.
We want to make bst even stronger!!!!!Paralysis and killer effects are now effective against more notorious monsters' attacks.
Interesting, can get Geodes from gardening now, if its more than "I got 1 flame geode for you after two weeks", it might actually affect the geode market.
HOLY SHIT THEY FIXED AZDAJA
Hopefully that includes stunning dispel. The issue wherein the Abyssea – Grauberg NM Azdaja's spell Dispel would affect players even if they had evaded it.
