I'm hoping for Cait Sith before SoA but... I'm ready to be shit on yet again.

I am still hopeful the new 2 hrs come with the Meebles update. They have been on the test server for a while and they don't appear to have any work done to them since. They should be ready to go....
We will most likely see a lot of updates in Feb. including a few "Life in Vanadiel" articles that feature the two new jobs and their lore. I really wished they did a Fan Fest for this like they did with WoTG and let us play with the new jobs, but I am sure they felt it would be too costly to do so.
One of the big questions on my mind is the three ??? spots on the Adoulin site. There's some people that think since they've made a habit of using equipment to entice us for the 6 minis, they'll continue doing so with Adoulin.
The likely things, in my mind are:
-Guild System
-Storyline details
-Key NPCs
Some people think they might stick "new relic system!" or something in one of those but I really don't want them to use that as a selling point anymore, not to mention it wouldn't match with a few things they've said in the past.
IMO the Meebles expansion will be in this months update with a few tweaks, the new 2hrs and planned job updates will be Feb, and Play as a Monster will be a Pre-Adoulin update before the big expansion drop.
Patience, dear Toth. 70 days til epic arrives.
Can just take a look at the old expansion (not scenario) sites for reference.
CoP had mini-sections for new areas, images of equipment, story/character info, and monsters
ToAU had mini-sections for new jobs, new areas, images of equipment, story/character info, monsters, minigame info (pankration/chocobo raising/racing), and event info (salvage/einherjar/besieged/assault)
WoTG had mini-sections for new jobs, new areas, monsters, story screenshots, and event info (just campaign, lulz)
On the SoA site, I'd expect one section for more story/character information, one section for information on whatever new events might be added, and one section which could either revolve around equipment or one other aspect of the expansion (personal islands, coalitions, or whatever).
There's a new post up in the JP section. Last Resort is only going to apply to 2H weapons.
"We'd like to take this opportunity that could have been used to improve several jobs to only improve Samurai."
So true lol. Hilarious how little they know about their own game.
I was really, really looking forward to MNK/DRK, especially once Glanz is done. Now I think I'll go cry in a corner.
I know, right? I hate SE so much right now.

Yeah I love that. Hey 1handers you suck and you need improving so we are going to take a buff from one job... and give it to everyone but you.
I am a bit confused. I am not a hardcore DD but what makes DRK so attractive as a sub for 1 handers as opposed to WAR? I thought SE was nerfed as a sub and doesn't WAR give Fencer, DA, and Berserk?
At least I don't have to find an Airy Buckler now.
While currently, it might be difficult to imagine the situations where a front-line job would select dark knight for their support job, we would like to look into this based on this possibility.
In otherwords, only SAM will benefit from /DRK because, WAR and DRG do not have native JA Haste abilities and pretty much need /SAM to not die due to lacking defensive skills as well.
Did they say Overload? Overload doesn't raise anything, it's a penalty. They must've meant Maneuvers. Your puppet gets +7 (+8 if you're macroing AF hands like you're supposed to) to the stat corresponding to the Maneuver element you used. It's designed to make it harder to stack to 3, I guess, as there's a check for your stat vs the puppet's to determine the amount of burden created from a Maneuver. Too much burden created and there's a chance to Overload. The elemental magic adjustment does also apply to magic used by the automaton. Because some aspects such as Overload allow for automaton stats to be raised easily, we will take this into account when we look at the balance of the adjustment.
I guess some JPs must've been talking about the +24 Int bonus you can get from riding three Ice. I dunno though. They're going to make casting level 2 spells quickly very efficient, but that doesn't really apply to puppets. They're still going to always cast Thunder V if they have the MP. They'd never be able to program a "cast MP efficient nukes in rapid succession" response in the Maneuver system. It'd have to be AI mode from a JA or autopart. Damn puppets already have a global recast timer that slows them down.
Slycer probably meant Overdrive, though I admit that I don't know how Overdrive affects maneuvers. Perhaps it increases the stats given from maneuvers used during Overdrive?
<-- Not a PUP, etc.
