My assumption was that Old and New was pretty obviously in reference to Ted and Barney, and that at the end of Old she is trying to hold onto the past from a fear of the future, and next episode will see her overcoming her anxiety.

It still looks like we're not actually going to see the wedding next week though, which is as equally frustrating as sitting through yet another arc where Ted/Robin are even remotely thinking about each other.
