How I Met Your Mother - Season 8

For all milk is worth, even though the whole premise is based on how he met the mother, I believe they can still write more stories that follow after. I certainly hope they do just because I love the cast so much.

Glad they jumped ahead to October instead of drawing out the months of everyone dating, but at the same time, it doesn't allow for the characters to have any development, so it's hard to really feel anything (which is especially funny given the scene during the credits)... Like with Barney and Quinn, they got together so quickly, got engaged so quickly, and now they're done so quickly, it doesn't feel like their relationship actually had any substance. Honestly, the closer this show gets to its end, the more I question the writers' ability to pace things.

I'd agree though that we're not really getting much development from Robin's new beau nor even Victoria again, making their eventual break up less dramatic. Idk why Robin couldn't have just stayed with Kevin (besides Kal Penn's schedule).

Victoria could've been the mother you know, because there is NOTHING that tells us, that the mother is someone he doesnt already know.

It could be a major troll, and them getting a fight and all, and then she trolls him with that yellow umbrella and goes like SURPRISE and different shit happens.

The only think for me that sadly kills Victoria is the face that in some season (forget which) He dated a girl, that we know is the coloc of the Mother, but iirc in that time Victoria was in Germany.

But meh could still be a troll and be one of ted's ex

Young Lily was so adorable when she told her dad her birthday was today.

And that exchange between Robin and Ted at the beginning to compete and see who was happier with their BF/GF.

Robin: "Anyway, I should get going. I have to go get a key made for Nick, for my apartment. Ha-burn."
Ted: "And maybe the locksmith who made the key I gave to Victoria will give you a deal. Oh wait. He won't remember me, it was three weeks ago. Ha-double-burn."
Robin: "Nick signed for a package when I wasn't there."
Ted: "Victoria keeps her tampons in my apartment."
Robin: "Damnit!"
