Currently the way loot is distributed is extremely random. Players doing LFR or players who are only able to do LFR can get lucky or unlucky depending on what the game feels like throwing at them. As a result, some may do LFR repeatedly, every week, and have nothing or very little to show for it.
To alleviate this I am suggesting a new currency (tokens) to be implemented. These tokens, when collected, can be used to purchase LFR pieces from a vendor. The token is awarded to you each time you kill a boss or complete the whole LFR to the end, but only once a week.
This serves 2 benefits:
1. Players who instantly leave if they find themselves in a LFR already in progress might see it as beneficial to finish it
2. Players who find themselves in a fresh LFR but who do not need gear from the last boss might see it as beneficial to stay and finish it to collect a token
The token is to compensate the ones with extremely bad luck, even with charm usage. In a way, it's an extension to the Charms system, but within LFR only. There's currently what, 5 LFRs at the moment. So assume a piece of LFR quality gear costs 10 tokens, then 2 weeks of LFR will gaurantee you at least one piece of gear if your luck is really that bad.
How much to assign per gear is up for discussion of course, as well as whether it should cost less for the MSV raids due to their lower iLvl. I understand that Blizzard doesn't want someone getting gear too quick. Or should cost be determined by boss. For Sha of Fear gear might cost slightly more due to the nature and powerfulness of the gear around it (for any plate wearer, I believe that 2-handed is Best in Slot, especially if legendary gemmed.
This is just assumption)
