Version Update: Multiple Crashes?

Something that's had me curious for awhile with POL.

Sometimes when they do small hotfixes like this, it tends to check a couple hundred files, download 5-10, then 'install' a couple hundred. Is it just essentially confirming said files are already installed, or did SE leave a lot of stuff sitting dormant from the content update until now? I'm assuming it's the former.

Just outta curiosity, since I'm not allowed on test server cause I was a naughty boy on their forums (or so is my understanding), is the test server still up at the moment? Can you dat swap test server files and see if the NNI randomizer is active there?

It doesn't appear that the lamp fix is active on the test server, so the crashes don't seem to be related to that.

The thing I find weird about the lamp fixes, is that they mentioned them being fixed last patch, and suddenly we had them this patch.

That's a dual-box issue. Can be fixed by using XI-Util.

Something strange just happened to me that makes me think the crashing might have at least a little bit to do with windower..

As I was getting ready to log off just now, I typed /unloadall into the console (I'm too lazy to figure out which plugin makes windower crash on /shurdown), and as the text was coming in from the unloads, POL crashed as it has been doing for the last three days. It may be strange coincidence, but still makes me wonder.

the only time I crashed since the verison update, was when tradeing the seals to the NPC (as said above). Never had any other issue.
I use windower, but I dont use stuff like spellcast etc. just blinkmenot and basic stuff
didnt even crash while dualboxing

I've crashed a few times using only basic stuff. My friend crashed like 4 times during some shinryu's yesterday.

Ok, got on last night finally, had no issues myself but my friend and ls-mate d/c'd in dynamis-valkurm about 5 or 6 times on his bard.

What? The lamp randomizer is NOT on the test server, therefor the crashes cant be related to it? Wouldnt the fact its not on the test server actually make it the #1 suspect?

I've crashed on the test server under similar circumstances as on the main server.

It would suggest that if the crashes didn't happen on the test server too. I crashed on the test server a few times before this update went live. I should've included this in my earlier post, but I assumed that it was known that this problem exists on the test server as well.

I'm sorry, I was unaware there were random crashes on the test server as well.
