    Kokou's Earring drop from Umagrhk (Test Server)

    I can give more details about the fight.
    He has 110,000 HP and a high movement speed.
    He is weak to Water, Ice and Dark. Every other elements are 1/2 resisted, Earth is 1/16 resisted. Even the very first Stun/Bash/Shock Squall can miss, I believe he is Earth based.

    Hit 1 : Single target triple attack + Def Down (-20%)
    Hit 2 : Frontal AoE + TP-20 + Knockback
    Hit 3 : Frontal AoE + Stun
    Calcifying Claw and Bonebreaking Barrage can hit multiple targets (conal attacks).
    Divesting Stampede also Dispel 1 effect.
    Bonebreaking Barrage's Max HP Down is -60% not -50% (1501 HP > 600 HP)
    Beastruction can be used above 25%, I have seen him using at 35%.

    Soulshattering Roar : AoE minor magic damage + Terror. Once used he gains a shield (in the form of floating rocks) which gives him about 1/2 chance of taking 0 damage from all attacks (weapon type doesn't matter, even magic and BPs are concerned).
    This slows down considerably the fight but there's a way to quickly break his shield, you can trigger a red !! by WSing behind him.

    The !! occurs with the first WS used and only removes his shield (no Terror or Amnesia effects).

    These informations come from the Test Server but I don't think the "real" fight will be much different.

    What set-up did you use to kill him? Seeing that 4 mannable is a relief as that's all we have.

    So, do you think a party can kill it withing the duration of PD ? Or is it better to use embrava >_> ?

    He said that was on test server, I believe mobs are weaker on test server?

    Sam, Smn, Sch mule and Thf mule (only for TH and WS after Soulshattering Roar)
    As Smn, if things went wrong I could hold it nearly forever with the help of Spring Water and Tidal Roar. Besides the Triple Attack punch, Soulshattering Roar and Beastruction, nothing can target the avatar. This glitch is not really new and concern all Naraka/Harpeia/etc mobs.

    PD will not protect from Beastruction which is the main/only danger of this fight. you need a Stunner or jobs like Rng, Mnk etc... Encumbrance can last a very long time (from 1 to 3 min).

    No, they are not lol but they are manageable with a PDT gear, Bonebreaking Barrage can still hit for over 1200 damage though.

    I thought i remember a post saying test server content is scaled down in difficulty so people can actually test it, i guess im wrong

    I'm pretty sure the ones on the test server had less HP than the ones on the real server do now, at least for the earlier ones (Goldwing, Silagilith). This was a long time ago so it's possible they were buffed up on the test server to match the real ones.

    Idk we'll see, it's probably better than /war, I plan do do it with 4 monks/nin and embrava we should be ok.

    Wait a second, I could've SWORN that the dev team said they were -DONE- with procs. I'll look for the post, but I know I read somewhere that events after the dynamis changes would never have a proc system again.

    Wouldn't really compare this to the past ones, it's just reusing the animation. Doesn't stun it or anything, just removes a buff.

    Yeah, it seems like they're just adding a visual cue to tell the players when they're fighting monsters the "correct way" in this case. I don't see how this is anything but a positive. Imagine if AV had those !! pop up after doing 2HRs correctly back when people were all bamboozled about him...well, okay, maybe that's a bad example...

    At any rate I thought people just hated proc systems because they were linked to drops so they felt like they had to do it, rather than it just being a strategic part of a fight.

    Their HP on the Test Server (approximately) :
    Goldwing : 70,000 HP
    Silagilith : 75,000 HP
    Surtr : 85,000 HP
    Dreyruk : 95,000 HP
    Samursk : 105,000 HP
    Umagrhk : 110,000 HP

    I'm pretty sure if they have the same amount of HP on the real server but I can't confirm 100%. Goldwing / Silagilith / Surtr have the same INT/MDB on both servers.

    Kinda pointless but...

    Went in for Surtr with 2x WAR DRK THF WHM SCH. My SCH stuns all landed without Stun Staff and low Dark skill. Died in 1 Minute without doing anything of note. The End

    The only thing they do to test server content last I checked (unless shit isn't fully developed/balanced, causing discrepencies) is just removing the party-entry/cooldown limitations.
