protip (as in, we are the pros) for the sideshow (you and mdk the scrubs): maximum WS range is slightly ahead of maximum melee range.
Try it...stand 3.8 from a mob engaged, you wont hit it, its out of range. Try WSing from that range.

maybe if you suck less, you'd know these things. That 3.8 number will be different for certain larger targets, and I have to point that out because you're a fucking putz and would post a picture of you engaging a yovra from 3.8 saying "HURRR I HIT IT".

Ok so confirming either a possible bug or a hidden functionality of grimoires. We entered with one avidity grimoire with bonus to spoil on one char, and the other 5 chars had an empty diligence grimoire. Prior to entering the "check grimoire" option correctly registered the #4 researcher with bonus to spoil. When entering we didn't have any boons. We did the same yesterday and had bonus to spoil. So it's likely a bug or there is some kind of hierarchy between the different grimoires.

eidt : we had avidity, 5 diligence, and bonus to spoil was on one of the diligence.

@pchan: The boons are only based on the leader's grimoire for non-boss expeditions. I'm guessing the guy with the spoils buff was the leader when you did the run where you had that buff on.

Our leader for today had bonus to spoils on avidity grimoire. The rest of us entered with blank grimoires. I'm not sure which grimoires they used; I personally used militant. We had no boons. Am I doing something wrong or is there something weird going on with the different grimoires?

Edit: it looks like most everyone in the group used higher-tier grimoires (not sure what else to call them, but the ones you get after avidity); maybe they overwrite the lower tier ones? In this case you would want bonus to spoils on sanctity?

Confirming no boons glitch on 2/4 attempts.

3/4 the person giving boons was leader. We got boons from someone not pt lead too.

All boons were on avidity and and all blank books were diligence.

edit: I'm talking about the Umaghrk fight, if that wasn't clear.

Just for clarity:

On non-boss runs (level #1-#4), everyone gets boons from the leader's grimoire. The one the leader used, not any other one they own.
On boss runs (level #5), everyone gets ALL boons from ALL grimoires traded. The ones that were used, not other ones owned.

Has anyone had a situation which contradicts one of these directly?

Edit: Funny enough, right after I post that, my group did a Researcher Emeritus expedition (Umagrhk) - one guy had bonus to spoils buff on the grimoire he traded, the rest of us didn't. When we went in, none of us had bonus to spoils buff, even the guy who had it on the grimoire he traded. idk wtf, sounds like it's not working right though. I'm guessing they screwed it up when they implemented that patch recently. Either that or its specific to Umagrhk, sounds like people are having the problem there the most.

I thought it was a leader problem too but ever since it happened to us on the test server I ask the one with bonus to spoil to be the leader. The bug has to do with other grimoires being blank. Next time I'll write the bonus to spoil boon on sanctity and enter with blank diligence grimoires. It sucks because we could only do 2 "bonus to spoil" umagrhk runs. So can't really tell for sure if it either removes torque/earring from the pool or increases the chance of the other 3 pieces of gear. However the 2 times it worked we got manasa chasuble and matanca harness (I know we also got abatteur without bonus to spoil). And right when the bug happened we got a double torque >_>.

Also mdk thinks it has to do with buying KI after trading the grimoire because it always happen on the mule doing that.
Looks like GM of the OF work on weekends because mdk's bug thread was already closed and reported to the devs

Ugh, man, how many things can they screw up with this event. Sucks to waste 1m for more torques (which is what we got). Going to try writing bonus to spoils to sanctity as well, but won't be until Wednesday.

happened again on the test server but it's unclear how it happens. If you happen to do the boss, when it happens you don't get the boon icon on you so it's easy to verify upon entry.
