Maybe buy the cells? I know the robe is a bitch, but man is that a damn good robe.
Triboxing would be a hassle because even though you can defeat the NMs with three, they require detailed concentration. For instance, the Gallu will be a bitch if you intend to have a THF (Recommended for those Chaps). The last chamber NM will use a shield if you don't stun a certain TP move and that will require DD positioning, so there's another consideration. Furthermore, goal 3 for certain expeditions (ex: Defeat pairs of leeches) is a bitch with three. In short, pick up at least one other member for meebles.
Its not listed on wiki, but Umhgrik is classified as a Beast.
Re: Samursk/Umagrhk
Backline is whm brd cor blm... frontline will be thf melee
where melee is mnk drk war sam pld nin.
Should we change backline up? And can melee be the heavy dd without getting raped? blm is also capable of going blu but I'm unsure if that helps.
Umagrhk is easily survivable with heavy DD if they have a PDT set.
My last kill was DRK THF SAM WHM SCH SMN.
The SMN used PD at 50%, but it was completely unneccesary.
Samursk is the same, though you should try to stun Oblivion's Mantle; a triple punch when you're weakened will likely kill you even in PDT gear.
Ugh, so I'm pretty much full timing PDT outside of ws? D:
with 6 people it wont matter
if you have an ochain pld, they can tank it with their eyes closed while everyone beats it down

The palimpsests make the fights quite simple, by the way. I have zero issues doing Researcher/R.E. with me playing MNK, WHM, and THF, and a friend playing DNC and SCH.
For the record, Samursk you can brute force before PD wears with 2 DD's (we used 99 Ukon + Ragna) if you throw a BRD in there too. Just be careful with Oblivion's Mantle because it does go through PD. Just throwing it out there since I know we had previously said it wasn't possible before PD wore but took my wife along today on BRD and it dropped ridiculously quickly. Was ages left on PD.
For what it's worth, THF/WAR tanked Umagrhk fine with SCH/BLM as healer/stunner + yoichi SAM for damage/aura breaking
Wait till Embrava takes the shitter and you're not riding through 200hp of regen lol
are they nerfing the regen on embrava? that's one thing i've always been curious about.
Its gonna last 90s base. So you can get 2m55s, then recast it there for an additional 3m45s. Soo a max of 6m40s. Remember theres also gonna be no regain which will hamper your dps.
am i missing something or am i supposed the only one affected by embrava nerf? you modify strategies as stuff changes. in my case, add another dd or brd and it should be fine. but thanks for the protip nynja
Few things I've noted from recent Meebles runs:
Everything that has a "goal" type NPC that requires interaction from multiple people now shows as each person interacts (for example, in the one where you need to race to the goal, it'll say 1/6 2/6 etc as people click the goal).
Marks used to be a certain total divided by the number of party members per person. Now, the amount of marks for each person in a 3 person party is the same as what it used to be, and for more people it goes up instead (+20% for 4 people, +40% for 5 people, +60% for 6 people).
The expedition with the crates (Associate Researcher 4) now adds to personal totals instead of cumulative totals, and the value were tweaked - 150 per small crate, 400 per large crate. You still receive the +20/40/60% bonus at the end based on the number of people, making this by far the most rewarding expedition for Research Marks. If you cleared it perfectly (every crate) with 6 people, you'd get 7,920 marks per person, but I think it would be fair to still expect at least 6,500 per run normally.
Samursk - I've done him a lot recently, and I'm pretty sure he only uses Unrelenting Brand one time as the first move he uses below 50% HP. Can anyone reject this (have you seen him use it twice in one fight)? I can say for certain that he uses it as the first move below 50% every time, I just don't know if he can use it more than once.
Samursk can use it more than once, no SS but here's a log (edited out the unnecessary):

He can use it more than once if for whatever reason the fight drags too long. It's the same thing for Umagrhk with Beastruction. I think these 2 TP moves are subject to a timer/recast after their first use. Oblivion's Mantle seem to be his first TP move once below 25% too (if he doesn't die before the end of Chainspell).
