Working on the bitshifting, that's definitely the error. Best I can tell so far, there are only 3 items in this file.
Abatteur Subligar
DEF:50 STR+10 DEX+10 Accuracy+7
Attack+14 "Subtle Blow"+5
Haste+5%
MNK, THF, BST, RNG, NIN, BLU, COR, PUP, DNC
Punga's Slops
DEF:37 MP+30
Adds "Regen" Effect
Avatar: Increases
accuracy and attack
SMN
Briscard Cuisses
DEF:55 HP+40 VIT+7 AGI+7 Evasion+10
Physical damage taken -3%
WAR, PLD, DRK, BST, DRG
Why does that subligar have to be subligar. Sigh.
That's all three of the ones we've identified - nice work! We know from JP Wiki that Punga's Slops is Surtr, and we know from the test server that Abatteur Subligar is a direct Umagrhk drop, and Briscard Cuisses are a 50,000 RM purchasable item after beating Researcher Emeritus. Thought both of those items had disappeared in the update, but I guess they do indeed exist. Also, I'm almost positive that Punga's slops show the regen as one of the avatar stats on the JP side, so I'm guessing it might be misplaced in localization and it's actually an avatar stat (wth would the SMN need regen for on those pants?).
So they clearly didn't fix Meeble Burrows yet. There's a Moogle standing next to the Burrow Researcher now who says "We are continuing to investigate the issue wherein players may be ejected from Meeble Burrows upon entry." Hey, I got an idea - why not just remove the fucking event NPC (Researcher) from the game until you iron this shit out? How is it fair that some people get to go and others get ejected?
At this point, the people who are willing to go despite the risk will continue to produce data for the developers. Everyone else has been fairly forewarned and can keep their distance. Either you go, or you don't; to those who won't, it doesn't impact their progress any more than it would if the feature were removed. If they're bothered that others are getting ahead of them, they'll just have to deal with it.
After all, it isn't "unfair" that they're going; they do so fully aware of what they're risking, and you can do the same, so you are not at a disadvantage.
As for anyone who believes that Meeble Burrows should merely be deactivated until the problem is solved, understand that Square Enix's testing department is likely small, and could not produce the numbers required for adequate troubleshooting. This is true for any video game, but especially MMOs. You may think, "well then, hire more people," but they would be better off running automated tests; even then, real world numbers will produce vastly superior data.
Sometimes, shit is broken, and it isn't as easy as picking out a section of code, fixing a typo, and announcing, "done!" If it was, it isn't as if the developers would be too stupid in relation to their own code to have figured that out already.
This is why I mocked that guy in the official forums hilarity thread, who believed that his medical software-related expertise meant he could tell Square Enix how to do their jobs. Don't be that guy.
To add, since you build 5-6 tickets at most, you may as well spend them instead of sitting out. Any accumulation afterwards is wasted if you don't use them.
The legs are best for VS and decent for uncapped attack shijin. Meeble burrow is the best thing that happened to the game in 2 years. I'm suggesting to rename this thread into meeble burrows finding or something. The only objection would be wether or not the last boss has an embrava or pd requirement.
Friend did Goldwing today and got 2x pairs of Alcedo Gautlets. Possible that all the bosses can have double drops of the same item? /crosses fingers
Also found a video of it on youtube where someone else experienced the same thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzryB5cEoCw
In relation to the 2x Alcedo Gauntlets post, we got 2 NQ Clubs from Silagilith as seen below.
It may also be worth noting that we acquired Goal 3 on Assistant Expedition #4 (TH Boon) and our THF started at level 9 (with full TH gear).

half of my group had cleared lvl3 on the 4rth mission and the other half level 2, and we only got one of those.
Mmmm the double drop thing is starting to sound good lol.
You can aggro the meebles and not kill them and still get Goal 3. Just as long as you don't kill. We just kept them whiffing away on someone whilst we killed the skeles.Defeat the required number of monsters to complete the goals. Fighting any of the meebles will cause goal 3 to be failed (it is unknown whether simply aggroing the meebles is enough to fail goal 3, or whether it is an offensive action or actually defeating them that causes failure of goal 3 Verification Needed).
EDIT
It never did the 9% one for us. It may be that it gets stuck by its AI though as the weren't at those exact amounts for us (although they were closeish). Seconding that he isn't remotely threatening though. I think I would have struggled to die even if I had tried to.At 74%, 49%, 24%, and 9% HP, Silagilith collapses and reforms, targeting a random player and using Tectonic Shift immediately -- partial draw-in, encumbrance, AoE damage, and hate reset, and gives Silagilith a temporary potent Enlight effect (~150 additional damage).
it split at 70% and 30% for me.
The double drop thing is almost definitely "bonus to spoils." I'm thinking it adds an extra drop slot (not guaranteeing an extra drop, just making it possible).
