Wasn't Ascalon a main focus in GW1?
And yeah, I'd love to see more of Orr since the only real lore I remember is Caithe's explanation when you start the story mode for Arah.

And yes your character was ascalonian in GW1.
If you look at the lore forums on lolguru Koenig is a dab hand at lore and has covered most of the lore behind the game.
Your Prophecies character was ascalonian.*
People used Canthan/Elonians aside from the nightfall/factions pvp toons?

Hope it's something my guild is interested in as they're mostly all WvW rats. Definitely wanna be doing these.
Yep. It's time to find an active guild.
Ok, that looks awesome.
I'm just hoping it isn't tuned for huge guilds and leaves smaller guilds out.
I love my big-ass guild. Can't wait!
Here's hoping they get the effort:reward ratio right the first time instead of these not being worth doing for 2 months.
Epic jumping puzzle is epic though.
Still haven't really found a decent guild since most of my FF buddies stopped playing.![]()
Never heard of a title, but someone that posted the OST said it's Track #88:
This
If anyone wants to transfer to Tarnished Coast and join our small guild, let me know.
Otherwise, I hope that all the ruckuss that this will cause in the community will make it clear to ANet that this is the type of stuff they do NOT want to do to guilds. We already dealt with this type of stuff in WoW and look what it did to that game's smaller guilds. Now we have stupid stuff like this.
Not only the small guilds are being punished here. General PvE guilds who do have have the WvW tree maxed out because they do not participate in WvW at a level to make it worthwhile, will now be almost 16 days and 38k influence behind. Or if you wanted to gauge that in gold or real money... 80g or 60$.
Except they've said multiple times that anything that requires <x> amount of players will be open to anyone in the area. A guild just has to start the events rolling and from there anyone can join in. I imagine the puzzles won't require large numbers to succeed at.
As far as being punished. Uh. What? Is it really that big of a deal to get everything done immediately in a non-competitive PvE environment? I don't necessarily see the harm in having it drawn out a bit to give people incentive to do guild activities more often.
Well until we see more on the mechanics I'm not too worried. As long as they keep the focus on small groups for dungeon runs and the like I'll won't mind too much. No way in hell I want to try and rally about 15 people for a run for an event.
Yeah, I'd be skeptical if it's just raiding under a different name. But I guess in this case, I'm not throwing a monthly fee at something I'd never touch if so.
