New dungeon is real good, second boss drags on a little but both have solid mechanics and are challenging. Didn't get to do Molten Facility but this is the best boss design yet.

What is wrong with Cecil and Rose now?

Seems there is an issue with the new dungeon. Folks on map chat are saying there was an infinite spawning chest. Posted on Twitter a couple of minutes ago:

We found an issue with the Aetherblade Retreat dungeon. We've temporarily disabled access.We'll restore access when the issue is fixed. ~RB2

She blocked him forever ago I believe so it's not like she'd correct him. Just telling him how off base he is (without getting into other silly shit like using win % or rankings actually meaning something). I don't particularly agree with all she said but trying to bring her ranking/win% in to it and claiming completely incorrect things is silly. FYI I was ranked higher than her with a higher win% and she's a shitload better than me. Win% might mean something if it only tracked 5v5 premade vs premades. But when a team of solo queues can be put against a 5 man premade they don't have much hope.

Yeah we got a chest near a WP twice after a wipe on final boss, didn't even think anything of it at the time.

Testing my new Necro build in sPvP and all I can say is holy fuck... 2v1'd a pair of bunker rangers at far point and capped it, so much damage.

I was sooo off base. Her asinine statement regarding tPvP Mesmers wasn't retarded because of her terrible winning percentage, but rather because she apparently DOESNT EVEN PLAY HER MESMER IN TPVP. How could I have been so wrong :'(

Also: new dungeon is indeed pretty sweet. Didn't notice the extra chest, normal one I take it?

Message just popped in game saying that there will be a new build in the next hour. Hopefully this fixes the dungeon! I haven't tried the dungeon yet since it went down right after I logged in. Are the golem pulls really that bad the way the official forums are making them out to be? Going to try the dungeon with Mesmer.

If you have real unfortunate timing it can kill you, but the fight is pretty short so losing a member on that rare chance isn't a big deal. I had more issues with the collision model of the crates you jump on. If you jump at them from a bad angle you get fucked. Killed myself a couple times doing that like a dumbass.

Doesn't happen to people playing on a keyboard and mouse.

Thanks for the tip. We wiped on the 1st boss during the third phase but got him on our 2nd try without any problems. I'm surprised we got the last boss on our 1st try though. You just need to have shuffle feet unless someone found a safe spot. We didn't beat it within the 15 minutes though to get the extra achievement. On the plus side I got the monocle (light version) so I'm pretty happy about that. Shame this is also on a two week timer like the Facility one. I wish they would extend them to a month or two.

Not the armor. I think you can only get the steam punk armor from the Black Lion Trading Co. The only two noteworthy items that can drop from the new dungeon: The monocle (light, medium, heavy) versions or the Infinite Aetherized tonic recipe.

I haven't looked too closely but I'm not sure if the steam punk armor is the same/different from the ones that the sky pirates wear. But yeah nothing else drops that I know of.

In much less important news, the aoe loot seems to fail for many. The offical response was pretty lol. Basically if you have the stock setup (F to interact, no specific aoe loot key) and you check the aoe loot option, F does not aoe loot because the thing is on the screen saying "Search (F)" and anytime one of those is up the aoe is designed not to activate.
