Remember i wanted mario williams in the off season? yikes was i wrong in 158 opponent pass plays. He's hit QB 3 times.
Honestly it's pretty simple. Let's look at just the Patriots game.
In the first half their defense just abolished them. They expected the Pats to try a run game and they contained it well. They were able to run a pass-based defense and it worked. But then Belichick pulled out his brilliance in the second half. Who would expect a Tom Brady-led Patriots team like this to rely on the run in the second half down by two scores? Not I. And yet, Ridley and Bolden ran all over them. Their defense wasn't lined up right the entire second half.
Coordination is pretty fucking terrible up there.
That seems like an oversimplification though. Granted I didn't watch the game, but surely it was more than the Pats ran more the Bills expected. Do the Beels have terrible depth on the line or something?
Don't mind Matt Birk, just bein' a bigot
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Ravens C Matt Birk has voiced his opposition to same-sex marriage, a view that opposes that of teammate Brandon Ayanbadejo.
In an article printed Sunday in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Birk wrote, "Ideas have consequences, and laws shape culture. Marriage redefinition will affect the broader well-being of children and the welfare of society. As a Christian and a citizen, I am compelled to care about both."
Birk is a Roman Catholic and father of six.
Ayanbadejo previously spoke in favor of gay marriage.
Speaking at the Ravens training complex, Birk said, "It's not my goal to engage in any debates with any one person or persons. They have their opinions. It just happens we disagree on what marriage is in the public forum."
Matt Birk is a true bro, I disagree with him on this but the man is entitled to his opinion. God damn 6 kids though
what a dumb asshole lol
Ugh. I really dislike that. At the same time, Matt Birk has been one of the most - if not the most - giving members in the community for the past handful of years. He really is a nice guy to everyone he meets - hell, even his bigotry-filled and poorly written rant is framed in niceness. But I can't really forgive him for that idiocy. He's on his way out anyway (this is almost certainly his last year playing), so whatever.
It's kind of ridiculous though, considering the biggest gay rights voice in the NFL is also on the Ravens. I hope this doesn't stir up too much locker room drama.
Also, Chris Kluwe commented on Reddit that he will be writing Matt Birk a letter. I eagerly await it.
He already has and it was glorious.

Idk rhino, peppers and Mario on the opposite side of each other would have prolly been pretty nice despite his lack of #s so far. Less double teams etc
