Well the reasoning behind my wife not sucking dick was because of a past relationship. For whatever reason, she carried that baggage forward. She used to do it with her past boyfriend all the time. She's gotten over that since though. It just took some time for that to go away. She and I have been together for 10 years, and we lived together for 4 years before we got married. At that point, I knew exactly what she was like and how she handles things so I don't forsee any problems from that.

The two main things about her:

1. She's a worrier. I have no idea where this stemmed from, but she lost her mother at age 19, and her father at age 25. I think that has something to do with it.

2. She can't stand staying up late and refuses to go to bed alone.

Those are our main issues. In the grand scheme of things, they're pretty minor and I've learned to deal with them to a degree.

I'm not worried about infidelity. If you don't put yourself in a situation where you can stray, then it won't happen. That's just me two cents though.

We don't argue about money, and we don't care who pays for whatever. We have seperate bank accounts, but we still treat it as "our money". I guess after that, I'm just curious what else there is to fight about?

Oh, I didn't say we don't fight. We have some doozies, but if you deal with them as they come up and don't let them snowball then there shouldn't be any surprises.

I have a girl I work with who claims that she has the "perfect relationship". I roll my eyes because it's a load. If you're involved with someone in a long term relationship you're going to fight. People have differing opinions and temperaments. You're not gonna have a perfect happy attitude all the time. It's just a reality.

I'll admit my wife has me pussy whipped. She sets the pace of our relationship. Vidya came before her, so she consented that she wouldn't be able to change that about me. The Army came before her too, so she couldn't stop my deployments and training. But everything else, she controls. My current career? Her doing. She's a lawyer and knew people in the D.C. police department and so bam, I had a job. Clothes and shoes? Her. Children's clothes, food, hairstyle, schooling? Her. Fixing the car and kissing boo-boo's? My job. She's 100% ghetto (she's black) but I love her ass to death. So much so if she was a stay at home mom, I probably would have killed her years ago. But since she has the whole "I'm not goin' to be laid up in bed while you pump me full of babies" attitude, I almost never see her, which has saved our relationship. See them en-passing and you won't have any trouble. Celebrate the weekends with family time and BBQ's and stay away from them during the week. That's what her dad told me to do and sure enough, that's how it's done.
