I was in a terrible marriage where my ex wouldn't let me work, spent money on frivolous bullshit leaving me to dip into my savings to pay our bills and before I knew it, we were both broke. I had to get my dad to bail me out of the terrible marriage (1500 mile trip in a u-haul with a 1 year old, I was pregnant too), and eight years later (married in 2004, divorce was final in 2009), I'm still paying for it.

But I've never asked for a penny from him. Shit works both ways.

So at this point you've either gotten your parents to bail you out, or else you shacked up with another guy with more money and gotten him to pay for you and kids instead. Got it.

I know how it is. Childcare is massively expensive, having kids is hard, and men are the best source of money. This includes fathers.

I also have no idea how a judge would approve a divorce order without provisions for supporting the children from both parents. Also, skipping town with your kid is called kidnapping, it's illegal, and the Father has the right to equal access to the child which you took away from him.

I have a pet peeve for rich daddies who "invest" in their daughter's divorce. My ex wife had her whole divorce financed by her dad and she never saw a legal bill. Thus, she acted as badly as she wanted and had no idea how expensive her shenanigans were.
