No, he's right. Kind of. Much, much, much more straight porn does barebacking than gay porn, and they don't even label it. While in gay porn it's rare for bareback porn to not be labeled. While barebacking in anal sex might be more risky in terms of venereal diseases, the massive amount of barebacking in straight porn doesn't exactly send a healthy message. Although i've heard of recent laws in California that seek to limit straight barebacking.

I dunno if this helps, but a friend of mine's worked at one of the production companies the cranks out gay pr0nz in ft.lauderdale. The first thing they do, when you get there, is take you to get tested for STD/STIs and the obvious HIV. If you have anything show up on those tests, they fly the potential "actors" right back or offer them counseling for the diseases. Yeah, doing porn will obviously ruin your reputation in our puritan society...

A lot since we're not that far from Chicago. They have a lot of smaller companies that scout for them and then they bring up to the big leagues.

The only pertinent advice I can tell you are that if your in a sling for more than 30 minutes and you're not used to leather/metal, you will get a bruise.
