If you take a screenshot of the first and second sections you can ignore remembering questions like where the hume was facing and what clothes they are wearing focus on counting chocobos and keeping track of the chest open order and the emotes.

There's only like 10 choices total so just repeating it a few times will give you an idea what to keep track of.

This is technically possible... the natural crit rate on that thing with a fairly nice WSC is a bit generous. SE is never generous.

If I ever get around to doing some dynamis on pup, I'll try to split the ws 50/50 and record the parses. Spreadsheet says SP should be winning, but in my experience it's losing in the realm of 200-300 average.

At the very least, if the giant 35-45% crit rate boost exists, I very much doubt it applies to all hits. SP does perform well in abyssea, maybe a bit better than my CDC does using brawny adargas. It always disappoints outside thou.

Yeah, sharpshot is a little better than valoredge, just use valoredge on stuff where sharpshot is dying too fast to aoes.

Rancor/Windbuffet/Thaumas/Usu is the best I've figured out so far but I want to see if there's anything I missed.

I'd use Rancor + Atheling over Nefarious + Rancorous myself but otherwise that set looks good. I use Iga +2 + 4/5 Thaumas myself since I'm too short on space to lug around Windbuffet so I just keep Twilight Belt on.

if I recall correctly don't need usu feet to cap haste. Can use thamus feet.

I didn't know if this is where to post it so, if not apologies in advance. I just got a new laptop for Christmas and installed XI on it. Once I log in, no character models display only names. Any idea on how to fix this?

You're guaranteed to get Weapon, Subjob, and Ability unlock cells and a chance at ranged from the initial chest assuming you mean NQ skadi feet.

You can solo everything in salvage (except the frogs that require 3+ players to spawn) as bst pretty easily, the only problem is you can get boned on ranged cells. I've had arrapago runs where I had no ranged cells in chest, killed every possible mob that can drop them on floors 1-3 and gotten none.

What's your integrated graphic's driver version? [Right Click on your Desktop and there should be an option for Graphics Properties of some description, if you poke around in that there should be a way to find version info] (Alternatively, Start Menu -> type dxdiag into search bar -> go to the display tab, there should be a box on the upper right that has driver information)

Farming Quiebitiel, is there any decent place to farm Sadist's Fortunes? Just spent 2 hours in there with a buddy, only managed to get two (and both dropped the wrong thing, of course). I figure there has to be a decent place to get them if people do the trial in one or two runs, tried the tower near the spawn and had a hell of a time just not linking half the place.
