What's the best way to utilise the RNG AF2+2 Beret in an Anni/Arma setup? And does anyone have some gear sets to go with it?

I'm guessing the best way is to add extra STP to your X-hit so that if you get a certain number of recycle procs it'll drop you a hit. But when I was looking over it with Yoichi for a friend (/War) the best I could do was a 5 hit that dropped to a 4 hit if you had 3 recycle procs (ie. every shot).

I see a lot of Anni Rngs using some sort of Recycle setup so was really wondering what's the cookie-cutter setup and how it works.

No one plays Rng anymore?

Given a 50% proc rate, I'd probably just remove some of the STP gear needed for my most damage efficient x-hit. I really like not having pseudo-hit builds, though. One of the reasons I stay off Ranger, actually. <.<

See that was my innitial thought, letting you go easy on some STP... but I'm not sure if the damage you gain by replacing STP in other slots would offset occasionally needing one extra hit. Though I suppose it'd only be 6.25% of the time and the over-tp would increase last stand damage.

Odd, the only Special Actions that I have "On" are on/by others. All the rest are "Off."

I do however I generally only get to use it when messing around with myself or in vw so don't bother with complicated xhits like that. Plus like you said given how much tp you get per hit and how much that adds it's not likely to drop you a hit unless you get all procs so best you could do is basically hope for 1 proc and maybe lighten up on store tp or maybe load up on store tp some more and see if it can drop you a hit with 1 proc

So about 3 months ago, someone posted in the random fail about shitty purses, and I said its manipulable. Shit ensued, and then it died off. If pouches arent random, and have a predetermined amount when they drop, couldnt you load up a char with a couple purses, transfer it to the test server, and open them up on both servers and see if the results are identical or not?

It really depends if you have Thaumas gear or not.

With Thaumas: Iga/Thaumas/Koga/Koga/Iga
Without Thaumas: Iga/Ninja/Koga/Iga/Usukane

Assuming Rancor/Suppa/Brutal/Rajas/Epona's/Atheling/Twilight in other slots. Athos's gear is good for WS.

For ages I have thought this was true purely because Powderkeg was a massive whore for me. In literally 40+ runs she only ever gave me 10+ Alex twice. Obviously random is random and it could be pure coincidence but I remember I used to laugh about it with people because it would happen to me virtually every run.

NeoSalv BRII Cerb's, when should MNK's generally save Formless strikes til? 40%? Also, which weapon serves better on both Cerb's? (Assuming 85/90 Vere's, 95 Spharai's)

We usually run WHM Apoc/RagDRK THF but in case the DRK isn't on we're looking at going with another person with Vere/Spharai's.

I use Vereth 85, my friend is Spharai 95, but I've never parsed us both on Cerbs. Either works fine but Cerb can hit hard so maybe the +counter on Spharai gives it an edge.

I typically use Formless Strikes on the NQ one around the 50% mark. Any later and it won't be up until the last 10% of the HQ unless you deliberately wait out the cool down.

Wieldance Card + Wieldance Jewel: ironclad cleaver

Balance Coin + Ardor Jewel: amhuluk

Voyage Card + Voyage Stone: ovni

All of those are timed spawns except amhuluk.

Any idea on what sorts of atma for solos? I have some PDT I think, but probably more mage and DD based atmas.
