Assuming its no, but does exp scroll droped in dynamis count towards exp based magian trials for af2+2 augments?
Maybe if you open it in dynamis.
Anyone ever tested rogue's roll number/crit rate increase ?
I haven't played since early 2010, but I often frequent the FFXI boards just to see what kind of armor is around these days. I've seen a lot of images of Ebodies with augments on them, and heca gear etc. I was curious if this is a one and done thing and you are just left with a pos augment and have to get another Ebody, or if you can redo the augment till you get what you want. I was maybe considering coming back to play some after I seen you can upgrade Salvage gear now, along with all the pictures of augmented Ebodies.
All the Ebody augments I see are HQ though, would a NQ one be able to obtain the same augments? Just a few questions.. if it is a one and done thing that would be meh.
The augments are different than the FoV augments you're used to, it's done w/ crafting and requires eabjs as fuel for it, but you get infinite attemps on 1 uncursed item. NQ's can typically obtain 1 less than the max augment on HQ - for Ebody, HQ can get 6stp 3da, NQ would max out at 5stp 2da.
The synergy augment system is one of the better systems they have implemented.
Although I way to control augments though a magian trial would be preferred imo.
This is the right answer. The "easy" gear build for NIN are Iga/Ninja(Iga)/Koga/Koga/Iga and Iga/Thaumas/Koga/Koga/Iga. The Iga+2 Body usually wins against Ninja Body if you're fighnig something high level.
For the record, the partial set bonuses in neo salvage means that the best build is now Iga/Thaumas/Tenryu+1/Usukane+1/Usukane+1.
For the first time in 21 black abyssite pops we had a shadowed yilb tonight. Luck being, it was glitched and would not stop spinning. Lost only shadowed yilb I've ever seen lol...fuck
Is it pretty expensive/difficult to level up Synergy enough to augment abjuration gear?
No, capping synergy will cost all of 750k-800k tops - it'll just take a long time. Sadly, spending more won't really increase the speed of it, just need to feed a lot of fewell.
If you're going to just turbo-controller it while you watch something else, I've heard the best way to go is to stock up on Light Fewell and spam Repair. You're literally looking at about 20,000 Enter presses to cap synergy, with a few directional buttons for spice. It will be one of the more boring things you've ever done.
Many level 80 synergists got there using a bot (that is currently broken) to spam earth fewell on nuggets/stall recipes while casting Haste, Stoneskin, and Refresh on themselves between synths.
I leveled synergy to cap (legit) when it came out and keep recapping every time they increase it. It's just boring. If you level alchemy first to make your own Fewell the price of leveling it plummets like a stone, but there's not much you can do to reduce the time it takes.
As a nice inbetween easy and cheap you could just do stall and spam that element and quit as soon as it goes to overload. Minimal watching needed for that. Or hell just spam that element and let it overload then repeat when it goes away
Is there a specific pet (BST or SMN for that matter) that is extremely resistant to doom?
