How does Troubadour interact with song duration gear? Multiplicative, additive? What's the longest a song can last with Carnwenhan?

Multliplies, troub is just (duration after all other factors)x2.

Longest possible would be:
Carn +50%
Gjallr99 +40%
Aoidos Neck +10%
Aoidos Body +10%
Marduk Legs+1 (presumably) +10%
Aoidos (Head|Body|Hands|Feet)'s +1 to song +10%

=+130%, or 276 seconds. x2 for Troub, 552 Seconds (9mins 12sec) - but only for Mad/Min/March/Scherzo

I have it on steam, but i never installed it from there, just thought it might be useful in the future (which is my current question)
Should i just install it from there, and does windower still work with XI when installed from steam? also is there a nice repository of up to date spellcasts?

Would i just be better off installing and downloading the patches?

Nah, I never bad mouthed the game, i was just personally happy when i broke it's spell on me, only now i'm burnt out on LoL, Dark souls, and 2.0 isn't around for another 6 months (minium) and i'd like to maybe do something with the 100 pieces i had on my character before i split.

When subbing thf, how much extra damage does sneak attack do?
When I read both BGWiki and ffxiclopedia, it implies that only THF main gets a damage bonus (1D:1DEX), but I was farming meteorite for the door quest in Quicksand, and it was a very obvious difference.
SA crits with my WHM club hit for 395~ damage and regular crits do less than 100.

Hmmm those really low lvl mobs too so should be capping attack so idk. Then again a normal crit of less than 100 seems rather low as well. What gear you using?

You can just install it through steam, run it once to install POL and never touch steam again when it comes to launching XI. Windower works fine, as well.

Max damage with a D56 weapon should be 264 even with +20% crit damage.

Even so yeah I just tested it out myself and same thing. Even with peircing bonus should've only done half as much as it did. Wonder when they broke it and what all it works on

So I'm trying to unlock smn on mules and having some problems. Some of the weather don't seem to work. Like I've zoned into many zones with no weather and no clear weather clear. And gone back and forth into qufim/delkfutt's tower with thunder up and no credit. This is for 2 characters. Any ideas?

Hmmm SA dex doesn't appear to work with blu spells though. Only did 15k benthic to a ladybug with pretty decent agi/dex gear when I was doing 13k at 90
