Does Cleric's Mittens +2 do anything extra to Banish over the NQ?
Does Cleric's Mittens +2 do anything extra to Banish over the NQ?
Unknown. I've been meaning to test it, but haven't gotten around to it.
Does anybody know if it's possible to get the same Homam piece twice? For instance, if I traded Homam Cosciales for Enif Cosciales, could I trade another hind leg for another pair of Homam Cosciales?
Alright, thanks! Not sure if I even want to make use of that, but it might come in handy.
Ok, so planning on Arch-Ultima tomorrow with the setup NIN, SAM, SCH, BRD. The damn NM has too many TP moves to remember all which type of dmg they deal. So TP in hybrid PDT/MDT set you mean? Also, since we dont use clipper, or any other stuff to get JA0wait, what is the ideal distance to move away from Citadel Siege, without getting drawn back in? And, how long is the charging time of that TP move? Should I keep DoTs on the NM? Or keep it clean to be able to precisely drop it to 49%, 39%, etc
Um.. anything else I'm forgetting to ask that you may want to add :s Really worried about low manning this, but lack of friends/people that care for lolmage gear
Is the BRD dagger from Azdaja a common drop? Haven't fought it in ages, don't recall
http://www.ffxidb.com/items/19134 no, but it's influenced by blue!! - if you're after it, unlikely to take more than 2-3 pops with proc.
Gracias
Alright, been looking around for a bit only to find broken links... Anyone have a link or know where to get Salvage I dat swaps?
That setup can win np but NIN isn't going to contribute a huge amount, better off with a 2nd 2handed DD. If you aren't using JA0 for seige then just don't WS when its close (within 3%), push it down with melee and be ready to run as soon as you see it drop to 49% etc, run to the opposite corner of the square. You may also want to move to the opposite side from which you tank it so you have a shorter path away from it). When running you must stay within melee distance of the square in which it pops as ultima can't leave it, this means you should be tanking it in corner closest to the ramp you enter from with mages at max casting range up the ramp.
Melees should be in pdt/haste gear fulltime if its your first time, can play a little more aggressively and try to keep DD gear up whilst preempting tp moves but if you have a melee death then you have no leeway if a seige gets off.
Other than that its easy, just prioritise shell when you get dissapation'd.
This doesn't really pose as a question but it also doesn't elect itself to be a whole new thread nor necro bump one from 2008. So I'll just post it here (move it if necessary). Awhile ago I'd help some people with translations and help them with a bit of understanding pertaining to it. In the end I had some free time and decided to make a "guide" to help with more of a visual. They said I should post it and maybe others could get some help from it also. I did on FFXIAH awhile back and some seemed to like the idea, but I never really got around to posting it here.
Here's a little section I cut from the page as an example:
Spoiler: show
Here's the [link] to the rest of the guide on our website on Guildwork. The 3rd paragraph I posted is the best way I could explain the situation as it is sometimes confusing. There might be mistakes and if there is are I'll do my best to correct them. If anyone thinks there should be something added (within reason) by all means just let me know. Going to repost what I said before: Please read the beginning as I've tried to be as detailed as possible! Also I'm not typically a forum person but I'll defiantly try to watch this as much as possible. Any suggestions/comments are welcome. Updates will come to this as often as possible, and if you have something you want added and already have the translation it would be much appreciated!
What's the best merit's for Cor currently? quickdraw 5/5 and??
Phantom Roll recast.
T2 are debatable but you definitely need AT LEAST 1 Fold/Snake Eye/Loaded Deck. Putting the rest between Snake Eye/Fold/Winning Streak is personal preference. I've recently switched to 5/5 Winning Streak. More in Fold don't seem worth it, you're rarely waiting on PR recast that it being reset is a big deal. And I still use snake eye 95% of the time on a 10 and very rarely on an unlucky 8 or 9 so that benefit is pretty small too.
But longer roll duration means more pew pew between rolls.
I went 1/5 Fold
4/5 Winning streak
and 5/5 Snake eyes, with augmented relic +2 pants this is absolutly worth it where you have to apply quick buffs and hope for XI, + useing snakeeyes on a IX to go to X and then have no recast, is a guaranteed XI! (happened to me quiet alot).
G2 I just do 1 fold 1 loaded deck, then bounce between 5/5 Winning streak or 5/5 snake eye depending on what I do, and how many rolls I'm rotating(certain situation gets more benefit from longer duration and certain situation it's better to aim for higher chance for quick 11). I'd say 5/5 snake eye(this is what I currently have) is probably more versatile, for pants proc and more No.11. After lock buff nerf it got a lot harder to take advantage of 5/5 winning streak compare with how it used to be. Used to be able to double 11 or lucky easily with lock buff and have longer 11/lucky with 5/5 winning streak.
I really like this.
Can you make one for something like:
Otherwise before a while ago in 2006/2007 I done a few by pasting some JP I couldn't get from the translator from altavista and they assumed I spoke Japanese.I don't speak Japanese, but I am pasting this from a dictionary because there is no auto-translate phrase available in the game.
I did try pasting in "I am using an online translator" translated to JP but it probably came out weird/confusing on the other side.
Oh, another one, how about:
(w)I'm a gaijin
that might humour them a little if you're joining a mostly JP event.
EDIT:
Thought of some more to randomly scream/shout ... learnt from anime of course, all in the name of "fun" or "social":
Dunno the correct "spelling" but it's literally said "ya-deh ya-deh da seh"" ... normally a response similar to "fine" or "sheesh, i'll do it" or "pitiful" or "oh well..." .... one would probably say the same after a long fight vs a NM but no drop. Would be fun to say I think after something disappointing has happened but you react postively/neutrally to it.

Got anything for "lets zerg the mob" ? ... I suppose [full attack!] would work but in this case I mean going balls to the wall.Lets kick this monster's ass
