Currently I have mirke wardcors w/ pet: acc, dbl atk, crit rate. I'm wondering if my body could be put to better use. In dynamis I'm usually wearing my TP body, since those guys are EP /DC. And abyssea solo/low man the dbl atk crit rate is ... Blah /shrug. Jobs I'm planning on focusing on: COR, BST, THF, DNC, RDM, MNK, RNG & SAM
Augment's I'm looking at:
MAB + quick draw -5
Snapshot 5 +. R.acc 10
QuickDraw and snapshot?
Or go with another body to help out RDM or SAM more?

This doesn't really pose as a question but it also doesn't elect itself to be a whole new thread nor necro bump one from 2008. So I'll just post it here (move it if necessary). Awhile ago I'd help some people with translations and help them with a bit of understanding pertaining to it. In the end I had some free time and decided to make a "guide" to help with more of a visual. They said I should post it and maybe others could get some help from it also. I did on FFXIAH awhile back and some seemed to like the idea, but I never really got around to posting it here.

There might be mistakes and if there is are I'll do my best to correct them. If anyone thinks there should be something added (within reason) by all means just let me know. Going to repost what I said before: Please read the beginning as I've tried to be as detailed as possible! Also I'm not typically a forum person but I'll defiantly try to watch this as much as possible. Any suggestions/comments are welcome. Updates will come to this as often as possible, and if you have something you want added and already have the translation it would be much appreciated!

Two questions:

- What are the best 3 atma's for BST soloing in abyssea (just got DG a bit ago, so I know that one, but un-sure of the other two)
- What is the best way to catch up on Voidwatch. I have litterly fought like 3 voidwatch mobs, i have 910 stones or something, but i don't know if there are quests i need to activate, or what...
--Are any of the lower tiers BST solo'able?
--Do i need to have any certain KItems to go on the numerous Voidwatch Shouts in PJ?

- I use MC DC and RR for abyssea, and that handles most everything with 2x Astolfos (pet -pdt)

That's the normal go to combo. You can also add another dd atma (gh) if you don't mind spending extra money on food. This will depend somewhat if you can. Most nm that cast I can not get away with that.

This is the list of ones to replace mc with if you doubt mind the extra gil thrown.

no it doesn't but it was probably supposed to.

I prefer Razed Ruins, Ducal Guard, and Savior, but most players don't have savior.

The critical 2 are razed ruins and ducal guard. there are alot of options for that last one.
MC is best regen w/out a downside
sea daghter has best regen for daytime and nice regain, but the slow really hurts
Vicissitude, STronghold and Impenetrable are other regen options which ahve other pros/cons like attack, def, magic def and lizard killer.

other dd options are Voracious violet, apocalypse, Alpha and Omega, sanguine scythe and gnarled horn.

all can be particularly useful.

I find the pet attack and DA/Crit to be best option for pet dd. I swap it in for ready moves. However, attack+ really isn't very useful for lower level targets on bst. If you are using bst like alot of players, for dyna farming or other low level targets, you won't get much out of the attack or acc+. DA/Crit is still very good though.

Pets get so much more a boost from level correction, the pet attack+ is mostly useful on high level targets. You get much, much more attack+ from run wild or from Ferine cabasset+2 w/ correct pet correlation.

So, I can certainly understand moving it to another job rather than bst. I'd be tempted to if I had some other job w/ there particular augments would be very useful.

can't say how good they are for those jobs though... only one I have is mnk, and I've no need for it on mnk.

The JP shouts I've seen are big on nicknames for some things. ブブプリン for Bot Rex comes to mind immediately, and Kalasutrax/Uptala often get referred to as ナラカ with their location rather than just their katakana name.

Other than that, looks handy to have. Nicely done.

Don't do a snapshot body. It is possible to get a skopos jerkin with +5 snapshot, and you'd only use snapshot in the pre-shot phase thus rendering any additional augment mostly useless.

QD and MAB remains the best QD body and will likely remain so. I would highly recommend it.

To my knowledge only a QD body or a pet body are good for acp augments now.

RDM with Atma of the Earth Wyrm, Beyond, and Minikin Monstrosity can just nuke it to death with impunity. I imagine BLM could too if you subbed something with barstone and cures.

When Perfect Counter is active, is it worth swapping in tantra crown +2 and ultion mantle for the +40 base damage or would the loss in DPS be counter productive?

They are saying if you do the shit and are helping the RMT you are fucked. The thing is how can they say "you knew they where RMT!" this is where in lies the problem. SE wont do anything to people leeching, they might ban the FCers tho QQ.

On the topic of bst atmas, future fabulous is also good for the 3rd slot if what you're fighting does a lot of magic damage. 50 MDB is a ton, and you get 5% haste as a bonus.
