Do i have more change to get IE "Anhur Robe" with Cobalt Cell?
Do i have more change to get IE "Anhur Robe" with Cobalt Cell?
I've heard of people getting 2x metal plates in the same box before, can anyone confirm something like that? Might mean that you have a chance of another HQ drop slot or whatever beyond the first.
Does the WS damage +7% on Phorcys Korazin only apply to the first hit of a weaponskill? I seem to remember reading that, but I might be mistaken, since it's not on BGwiki.
Iirc, all forms of Weaponskill damage +X% only apply to the first hit, except for Overwhelm and more specific boosts like "Viper Bite damage +35%". But yes, Phorcys is first hit only.
*Okay for the first you could probably use this:
I don't speak Japanese, but I'm using an online translator.
私は日本語を話しませんでもオンラ イン訳者を使用しています
Watashi wa nihongo o hanashimasen demo onrain yakusha o shiyō shiteimasu
*Second:
私は外人です - I'm a gaijin - Watashi wa gaijin desu
外 - outside/foreigner and 人 - person // For people that don't know gaijin is a word that can be used to describe a foreigner.
*Third:
The best phrase that would work with what you asking for would be "sho ga nai". It means "It can't be helped". Now I know saying that in English doesn't really make you think it's what your trying to put across, but it'll defiantly be put out that way. 仕方がない _| ̄|○ (emoticon added for effect). Basically you go through all that work with no reward. You can't control it so it cannot be helped.
*Fourth:
Let's zerg the mob. That's a tough one since it is basically a game term only. If you want the term "zerg" it would be in Katakana "ゼルグ - zelugu", but I don't believe that would have much meaning. Maybe someone else can help with this? The best I can say is maybe "はやくそれおころす - kill it fast - hayaku sore okorosu".
Spoilering my last post for anyone that might have any more comments/suggestions.
Spoiler: show
Being picky but, you can be less verbose if you wish and just say:I don't speak Japanese, but I'm using an online translator.
私は日本語を話しませんでもオンラ イン訳者を使用しています
日本語話しませんのでネット訳shiyou shite imasu (had to remove the last few japanese characters there, it ate my post for some reason. I've actually had this problem a few times when posting Japanese, can any admins help me?)
I'm sure other Japanese speakers on the board may or may not disagree with my sentiment, but I really hate the word "gaijin" because of its typical use and it's kinda weird to describe yourself as one nonetheless (It gets the point across though).私は外人です - I'm a gaijin - Watashi wa gaijin desu
I'd prefer just
(自分は)アメリカの人です
"I'm a person from America"
replace the アメリカ with a different country as appropriate.
You'd get the point across, but it is kinda weird/uncommon to see the word ころす like that. Usually people use "defeat", as in 倒して.The best I can say is maybe "はやくそれおころす - kill it fast - hayaku sore okorosu"
I think a more detailed way of saying it would be to go "___________, defeat it quickly"
_________早めに倒しましょう
You can put something like:
弱点ついたら早めに倒しましょう If we trigger weakness, defeat it quickly
弱点を無視して早めに倒しましょう Ignore weaknesses, defeat it quickly!
A couple days ago I was doing Tav xp with some friends and we seemed to feel like Blood Pact: Rage's proc rate for magic time was really, really, high. It was like, 50%. Was this just our imagination or has anyone else gotten similar results?
Had that issue in an earlier post, putting spaces between characters seemed to clear that up.
I feel the same way hence it won't be going in my guide, but it was a question so I ended up translating it nonetheless.
Posting at 2am will do that to me sorry, but I actually like this way of saying it more. It does "sound" more natural. Care if I add some of these?
Go ahead, just trying to help out. =PCare if I add some of these?
Really like what you've done btw, drives me crazy when people throw entire paragraphs into google translate to speak Japanese, lol. Using it for single words works alright but putting entire essays into it will just result in tears.
Ah I guess the word Gaijin (I suppose it's not the best place to discuss it) and the usage/stigma attached to it I feel fine with. Being chinese myself we have a similar word, Gweilo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gweilo) and is was what I was brought up to use by parents and also the media. In no circumstances have I used it as a racist or derogatory term. From another perspective, it basically is a quick umbrella term, if a slang, for anyone that's foreign, and can act as a quick indicator (i.e. I work in a store. I'm at the backroom checking stock. Colleague comes in "hey hey stig! a hot gweilo is outside! come check her out!" then it'll immediately indicate to me that it's a hot none chinese chick) .But yeh this is why I picked up the term and used it to describe myself, because I just absolutely cannot feel any offense/derogatory stigma attached to it, because of my usage of Gweilo in Cantonese, so I find it funny instead.
Thanks for this, adding it to my reference. Out of curiousity though, is there a translation and meaning of what I suggested initially? (ya deh ya deh dah na) (on second thoughts, it could be ya reh ya reh ... ) -- all animes/translations I've looked up gives me different translations haha*Third:

I suppose no JPs would approve but is there a word for leech or key person? Sometimes I wonder if typing in {key} {person} {leech} actually means anything to them in jueno shouts.
---
How about calling or praising someone to be an elitist (or just very good in general). Typing in X person's name and adding {incredibly tough} or {impossible to guage} makes me feel stupid at times.
You're thinking of "yareyare", which is pretty much an exclamation rather than a standalone statement (Explains why you see different translations since the meaning shifts with the context). And you'll look like an Otaku saying that (At least I would think you are if using that word). Technically, you can combine "sho ga nai" (add "wa" if you're a girl) and "yareyare" by beginning with "yareyare."
Ah ok. And yeh I was being slightly otaku there haha, I did state that it spawned from animes, but only in the spirit of fun/social. Since you've typed it properly there I went to google it just out of curiousity:
So yareyare sho ga nai would make a lot of sense in that ...His catchphrase is "Yare yare daze." It has no direct translation but it is usually translated to the effect of, "Gimme a break." It can also mean "Well well well..." or "all-right all-right...", since "yare yare" commonly translates to "Oh well..." It generally relates to boredom or exasperation. In the English version of the manga, this is written as "Give me a !@$&*# break..". The English dub of the OVA translates it as "What a pain...".
Thinking about it, a near equivalent term in cantonese (I know we're not on that level but hey I like to think and relate. The curse of speaking 2 languages):
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=aiya (definitions 1 2 3 4)
I think for those situations you can just use "orz". If it's a crappy VWx6 run you can say something like "ゴミ箱x6 orz" (Lit: Garbage box 6 times)
Oh yeah, bigbomb, I think it's worth noting for people looking for JP VW shouts that 〆 is a symbol JPs use to signify a shout is full. Also worth noting "一旦〆" for when they get flooded with tells and they want to stop tells to them until they shout again.
