I remember reading a while back the SE added a payment feature where you can add a credit card and have your monthly fee charged automatically. Basically made it to how it was back in the day before all this Click and buy bullshit happened. How do you set that up?

I can't check the exact path at the moment since I don't carry my security token around, but what you're looking for is very easy to find. I think it's Update Payment Information -> Credit/Debit card.

Does anyone know offhand the best sets for meleeing old content while soloing as dragoon? I was trying to incorporate some of the ares' +1 armor since I couldn't find a five hit, but I kept coming up short on haste or STP.

Also, is there there a decent strategy for soloing the dynamis trial for Argute Loafers +2, or am I sunk without a buddy?

Generally counterproductive to go without a subjob, you will lose more currency than you gain from lucky white procs.

Solo yes, but having farmed for months with 1-2 others we found this worked well for us.

I do sam/dnc thf/dnc and brd/whm when I farm dyna, Farm the dc stuff too. 3 chars shouldn't be doing eps. Bst is only good if you need to find TE. Haste with brd, marches, chain pulls with brd. Pretty much it's proc then insta kill and move on. Never tried using a blu with a brd, but blu is pretty great for dyna too, just always had to conserve mp instead of going all out like sam.

And yeah prob risky for a trio to clear floor4 on zhay hehe. Depends on how good you can aoe kill stuff I'd guess. I usually just skip it than risk timing out to a crappy spammy hydra.

I think it wasn't so much that it doesn't work at all so much as it is an overall net loss from the loss of dmg. Even with more DDs this means either one of them not trying to proc since they can't white or decreasing your chances to white even further

not a huge difference, but were relic trials adjusted again? my first trial from the moogle on rag was 200 scourge killing blows on beasts. he seems to have skipped the 200 scourges on birds trial. the moogles projected resulting weapon has just +3 dmg (bird trial was supposed to result in this). i haven't actually started killing shit yet, this is just what the moogle told me before i logged last night. glitch, update, drunk moogle?

Oh I get your point but the thf subbed dnc and 2 people procing worked well for us. DNC/ is so efficient at it they can simply 'proc and go'. We had no issues killing stuff fast. With a BLU there I see no issues at all. Anyway, there are many ways of doing it, just was throwing ours out there.

if i used POLUtils to change npc names in salvage so i know what mob drops cells, will other be able to see the changes in the log if i perform an action on the npc
like this if i changed the birds name that drops cells to bird (cell). how would it look on other screen or will only i be able to see the changes or will it look like this & everyone can see.

thf/dnc and dnc/xxx means that ~60% of your procs have a 1% chance of hitting white. you will on average take more than 160 kills, to gain 99 coins(replacing the 100% single with a 100)). having that dnc/war instead will produce a much higher kill rate, allowing you to make up those lost coins by simply killing more(1-4 coins per mob), and also adds 1 more potential proc ability every 30sec to ensure you proc them before they die.

Keep in mind worms will stoneskin and you can't skillup until that wears/breaks. I found doing any random monster in abyssea with some regen atmas was the best option. Turtles were pretty good since they take a long time to kill and you can run if needed.

I think you can get a skillup if you hit for 0 due to stoneskin.

old limbus content is easy to solo on bst.
you can still die if you are not careful, but killing quickly is not a problem.

Not worried about the death part, more worried about it taking 10 hours to get one piece of synthing a +1.
Has that changed at all, or still completly random stupid drop rate?

It's still random, but given how much faster you can progress while still going by yourself, you can open more item chests instead of time.
