The kick timer is 10 minutes thou, so it shouldn't be an issue really. I think the only thing that would stop me from soloing on bst during that time limit would be pet potentially switching targets when adds spawn. bst x2 could duo it for sure.

Does anybody know if the 50% PDT cap that Burtgang can break applies to the sword only or it's an overall cap break while sword is equipped?

What I mean is: if we cap 50% in PDT gear is the max with Mythic -68% PDT (50+18 ) or does it just "break" the cap allowing us to wear -65% PDT in gear PLUS the 18 of lvl 99 Burtgang for a whopping -83% PDT which is close to 87.5 cap?



Edit: Wait let me count how much we can get from gear: Ammo 2+ LHelm 8 + 6 Neck + 2+2 Earrings + LBody 11 + Hands 4 + 6+ 10 Rings+ 5 Mollusca cape+ 4 Flume belt + 5 Legs + 5 Feet = 65% ok

Where is the best starting point for possibly finding a Neo-Nyzul Isle group? I also want to be prepared, so is reading the wiki on BG going to be enough to give me a general feel of what to expect? I have MNK and NIN to use in NNI currently, so should I start leveling WAR or DRK? I'm also in the process of getting better gear. The reason for this post is not to sell myself; it's to be prepared and to learn more about the game and how to better myself as a player.

If you're well geared with Verethragna or similar your MNK is going to be fine. NNI even now is not something to mess about with. The best thing you can do for yourself is to try and setup a decent and stable static. We found our group did fine after the first run or two but introducing in new players much later on has proven a huge headache. If your gear needs updating, do it. Bring food/meds/powder boots or at least 12% movement speed. Voice chat is fantastic, especially for lamps but with clear agreement about how to complete lamp floors before hand you're fine. Make sure you and everyone else has their preferred temp items set up at the NPC in Whitegate so you can just go in and grab.

SCH's need to have a decent enhancing set, ideally 450+. Caps at 500. With the potency of Embrava being nerfed soon, one of your potential SCHs having BRD might be something to keep in mind. Communication needs to be fast and clear. Useful to let SCHs know when you've nearly completed a floor. This gives them time to prep strategems. One SCH will always stay at the lamp to take the group up, the other will run with some of the DDs.

SCHs should keep Embrava/RegenV/ShellV up as much as possible. Perpetuance haste on all DDs and then we use a range of other buffs just to help. So AoE Phalanx, Firestorm, Adloquium(sometimes) etc. Not always possible to have everything up at all points but every little helps. Hence letting SCHs know when you're about to go up. Prepped strategems = save time.

DDs need to function fairly independently. Overlap mobs, split the party into 2-3 directions. A well-geared, Almace BLU can be amazingly useful. Sensible players with the ability to make quick and decent judgement calls are a must to make things as smooth as possible. You want to avoid people who can't communicate effectively and who can't respond quickly. Be prepared to have COR mules for 2hrs or to have people spend CC points in Meebles to buy revitalisers for 2hrs.

I know some people will say it's easy, just do it but really get the strongest and most sensible players you can find.

I think people just ignore Strafe and have different splits for others, but I think 4 Deep Breathing and 1 Empathy is a good way to go.

I seem to have missplaced some old relic; BLM coat, and BST pants.
Scanned my logs and I dont see them being tossed (or anything else), and FFXIAH shows that I had them on me at one point.

Can relic be stored individually? Any plugin that scans all types on inv for items?

( ( Level + 2 + floor(floor((Mod%*Stat)*alpha) )*fTP + dSTAT ) * (MAB/MDB) * WS Damage * Day/Weather Bonus * etc.

I'm not sure of the order of the terms, but the important part is filled out. I've started converting bgwiki WS pages to include the dSTAT term and stuff for magic WSs, but in general if you don't see it specifically listed you can assume that it is:
(pINT-mINT)/2 + 8 = dSTAT
and that it caps at 32.

Is their some kind of special condition that needs to be met in order for Adaman Barbutas to have the Regen augment? I've now spent well over 100 hours farming gold chests at capped amber and have not gotten a single one augmented with Regen. I've gotten every other possible combination you can get except Regen.
