Forgive me if this comes off as pissy but is Strigoi Ring really worth all the pain and effort? I am trying to farm one for my Kaiten set and so far I am 0/43~

It is just such a frakking pain and just wondering if still what i should be going for.

Nope. If Attack isn't capped you shouldn't be using Kaiten.

Just got off the phone with tech support and they say I'm perma'd, but they have no idea why and it will require further investigating. I received an email saying it's for violating the user agreement. I'm not a golden boy, but this surprises me. Oh well, was a good run!

From what I've heard about the ban process, they let you get away with violations(pos hacking/clipper) several times. This basically allows them to build up a strong foundation of evidence thatched together with multiple instances of your violations before stomping down on the veritable fortress of violations with the mighty boot of justice.

So instead of bannign people for one instance they usually let you build up many so that it's basically indisputable.

Eh, I guess I don't have anything to lose by saying. Basically over the last 4 months or so I've just been playing to make a few bucks on the side as I never joined a serious LS or was able to even purchase NNI gear as no one on Shiva sells(contacted all "major" ls's etc). I've probably sold somewhere around 125m over this time period. Always used the same buyer. If you've dabbled in selling you'd recognize the name as a major buyer/seller. I figured I was safe but I guess not. Oh well what can you do.

I've capped my int merits and now I'm trying to figure out what I should do for the other capped attribute. I play blm, whm, rdm, brd, sch, smn, drg, and thf. While yes I do play mages mostly, I'm not sure if putting it all into mnd is worth it over a melee stat. Thoughts?

STR, MND definitely not worth it unless you're spamming requeiscat/realmrazer constantly - and even then would be a close thing.
