I'm trying to install FFXIView and I've hit a stopping block. How do you swap the status icons using the FFXI-Icon Change app? The instructions included are vague at best.

That app is for manually changing the icons yourself - ie, creating a new utsu icon. If you're just dropping the icons they made in place, it's a straight "replace one file with another".

My medal for campaign had been expired for many months yet I never talked to NPC to get an evaluation. I was sitting on Medal of Altana. I had finished the Sandt line of missions a day prior so I talk to NPC to end the evaluation, the only option it gave me. I still lost the medal. Is is this because it expired before I beat the final Sandy mission? If I redo some campaign and rank up, then forget to campaign again, then what options will appear to allow me to never lose the medal?

XI-Util lets you map a specific launch pathway too.

The dialog will say something along the lines of "you fucking suck, but because of your contributions we'll let you keep your medal". I'm not sure of the exact words.

Is keeping your medal based on nation performance, or could I be allied with windy and having finished sandy missions will I keep medal too?

LSMate was asking if you can get 9 shots on barrage with hunter's bracers+1/ASA augmented pants, and 10 shots on barrage adding in Phineus' Gun of course assuming level 90+? His argument was no other attack rounds in the game go above 8, so is this an exception?

I've been told yes but never really tested it since I only have 1 of those. Also I know it has the same text but has the gun been tested to add a shot?

that page isnt super long so it's not that bad to just scroll through. If you're asking if every page should default to spoilers or not i'd say go with spoilers. I can deal with fugly. It is kind of disconcerting looking at the page and not seeing any information right away though.

Could a 6man pt (no mules) take Arch-Diabolos? Since it's random what pops, what'd be the best balanced job set up considering zerg is not viable for all 4 forms?

From personal experience I can say it is only based upon your progress with your current nation.

Given minimal consideration(there could be exceptions I'm not thinking of at the moment), I'd say unspoiler every job page.

If nothing else, and an agreement can't be made, would it be possible to just add a setting that can be turned on/off?

In regards to Arch-Diabolos, I've asked around as well, and general consensus is that one party is going to die horribly, and a full alliance has at best a decent shot at winning. If anyone here disagrees with this by all means speak up, I'd love some insight on it myself.
