Doing Colorless Souls and I've been thinking of doing some Gamayun->Maere because I still need some seals off Gamayun and the two never seem camped. Planning to do MNK (Vere), THF (mule, decently geared) and WHM. Is there really anything I need to worry about, other than getting hit with Nightmare if I pop/pull on my WHM? Nightmare just draws in the highest hate person, right? So all I have to do is make sure the DDs have more hate than the WHM?

No it will draw in the entire alliance with the most hate. But you can have the whm stay out of pt

It's definitely not whole alliance based on what I saw this weekend - did a pop with some other group there that wanted the Gifted Earring. They were THF+WHM+BLM in one pt, I was THF+WHM in another PT, allied together. None of the mages got pulled in on any Nightmare. I'll try some pops this week and see what happens. Can always drop myself from PT if necessary.

It drew in my THF mule in that setup, but I didn't get pulled in with him - if that clarifies. (The other mages didn't get pulled in either. I'm not sure of the other THF since he was already on Maere fighting. I got the draw in message on my mule.)

Maere can draw anyone in regardless of hate/location. Had it happen helping a friend with Ochain while teaming up with a group doing Gamayun for seals; it drew in their WHM completely from the opposite side of the zone.

Moral of the story? Have the WHM outside party.

Difficulty of dual boxing (mnk + whm) lv 90 massa? Have war avail for red procs on building pops, but not really combat ready. Was one of the things I was thinking of doing when I reactivated my account. (also is it worth it? with 99 tp bonus gkt at my disposal and if so, is how significant an increase. No plans to ever 95 or 99 it since that funding will go to my mnk)

iirc Koga > 99 Masa > 99 Amano > 95 Masa > 90 Masa > 95 Amano > 99TP Bonus = 85 Masa

It's doable obviously but you'll waste a lot of time constantly switching jobs/gear like that. The isgebind KI dragon would suck to dualbox with a mediocre war as well. You'd be better off just taking a day or two to grind out a passable nin and just do everything nin/war + whm/thf. With the cruor > gil nerf you might as well brew isgebind anyway, unless you had already dumped it before you deactivated.

As for tp bonus vs 90 masa, last I heard they're extremely close under normal circumstances, but masa will win in VW due to dusty wings, and in any situation where you can cap attack vs mob defense, where shoha's attack bonus becomes irrelevant and fudo surpasses it. Than again, in those type of situations you're probably be better of using draca couse + stardriver.

It's doable obviously but you'll waste a lot of time constantly switching jobs/gear like that. The isgebind KI dragon would suck to dualbox with a mediocre war as well. You'd be better off just taking a day or two to grind out a passable nin and just do everything nin/war + whm/thf. If I were to do that, which would be the best way to go about it, excluding magian trials?. Grinding those types of trials is something I don't plan on doing again

Assuming I'd have to get a decent amount of Amber, that'd be faster than a 15 min repop mob; considering I'd have no help, so after doing all that could only make 2 pops out of it?

Cata gives amber, and why would you have to make 2 pops? are you planning to leave the area to fight it on another job? mnk + whm can kill izzy

catacleave 2 KI's, change atmas to DD atmas, kill both izzy's, change back to cata atmas, repeat.

Amber farm will be the fastest by far.

I dual boxed all my 90 Vere items. DD(me)+SAM/THF(brewer)

Cap amber, brew with mule and keep him locked.

On Isge I think you want to Sanguine blade brew him, been a while.
